well, this is DH's first child and my third. i already have a DD and a DS. i'd really love to have another DS so we can name him after DH's father that passed away last year after a long battle with cancer. it would make me so happy if we got that opportunity. but either way, as long as the baby is healthy, that's all that matters to us. :)

Wow Jillian, that is fantastic news. My DH was born on May 1st, and I always joke about MayDay MayDay, Bill is getting old.... No wonder your weight just didn't drop right back down after you came back home like I thought it would. You guys do work fast though... Wearing dresses must agree with you.

barbara--too funny! actually, may 1st is the day that DH and i "found" each other again online (in 2006) after not having any contact with each other since 1998! so it's definitely a special day! yes, apparently we were both pretty excited to be back with each other! thank god for the military, huh? ha. we keep calling it the homecoming baby! :)

i kinda had a feeling as i've been having symptoms for about two weeks now..and TOM isn't due until tomorrow and i found out on monday, so i found out pretty dang early!
