So there is 5 pound decrepancy between both the scales at my house and neither of them will give me the same weight twice. I think I need a new scale before I scream. Can anyone recommend a brand? I don't need anything fancy just reliable...

I like Omron's scales... Their HBF-400 is currently $39.99 on Amazon.com, and I think this is the model I have. I got it. After a few weeks, my then-GF bought it. A few months later, my parents got it. It's a great scale, and the BF% monitor is really consistent too.

I was just coming here to recommend the same scale as the previous poster, Omron HBF-400. (I removed a link to it on Amazon, I wasn't sure we were supposed to include links in our postings. Nope, you don't need wet feet for it to read body fat (at least not on the one I have).
