I had my first full day with the Gowear Fit yesterday, and I loved it! I wasn't sure how it was going to do, cause yesterday I went up to Mt. Hood for my 3rd day of snowboarding lessons, and I thought all the sliding around and falling would throw it off. The charts and data totally match, though, and you can really see exactly what I was doing all day! What's really great is how obvious it is that snowboarding is a very intermittent sport... you work really hard for 10 minutes, then sit on the lift for 5, then work hard for 12, then sit, then work... when I did a 2 mile walk two days ago, the chart had big solid bars of activity, not these little spikes. I also love that you can see the short run I did at 8:20pm trying to get to an appointment at the Apple store Genius Bar after we took a wrong turn.

Very, very cool!! This is going to be such a huge help for me. And what's funny is that my very fit and athletic husband and friends here are super jealous of it when I tell them what it does! They want to get one for themselves, just so they can understand more about their activity and sleep. Beats feeling embarrassed about it!

I am {.} this close to purchasing the Sensewear before the end of January to take advantage of their special. I have really been wondering if I am not eating enough, so I just might do it.
Now that I got a new job offer and new tenants in my rental - I think that will be my reward!

I tried Opera and Firefox. But mine didn't load it all. It hung up at the very beginning until I tried it on ie.

Have you tried reinstalling the software?

So, just in case anyone's curious about what a more normal day looks like, at least for me, here's my chart from yesterday. We have a friend staying with us, so we went out to eat both lunch and dinner yesterday, and I ate much more than I would have at home (I keep track on The Daily Plate, and yesterday I think I ate 2,225 cals instead of my usual 1,540! ) Plus I was sitting around the house not doing much of anything all day.

What was different about yesterday was that I plugged in the Gowear Fit right before dinner, realized I wasn't going to hit my target, and decided to walk to dinner and meet everyone else there. It was over 3 miles! But it was a very nice walk, through some of Portland's coolest neighborhoods, and I was very glad I did it. If I hadn't had this thing on my arm, there's no way it would have even occurred to me.

I've busted through a long-standing plateau! I really attribute most of it to the increased "mindfullness" that my Bodybugg has created since I started it a little over a week ago. I feel the downward trend coming!

Beloved - I tried it on IE and it actually worked. THANK YOU!! Your right I don't like it either so just load it up, then enter my info and switch over to aol for everything else.

Lori, what is the Sensewear special? Can a person order this on their own? I thought it had to be from a medical person/clinic.

Is the BodyBugg special only through Jan. 31 also?

Thanks, Rachelle

Hi Everyone! I too am new here.

After reading this thread I broke down and purchased my body bugg on 1/21 through 24 hour fitness and somehow down the line they messed up my shipping and forgot to process my order. However, all is good now with delivery set for 2/4. I am anxiously awaiting it's arrival and checking the shipping info like a madwoman!! I guess in my wildest dreams UPS will deliver early! (tee hee)

I sure hope it's worth the wait. It has been torture! How is everyone doing with their bugg? I have been overweight my entire life and I'm hoping this will finally set the record straight in regards to what I burn etc.

Thanks!

Also after my father and brother were diagnosed with Adult ADHD I found out I have it as well. When my doctor put me on Adderall XR, my entire life changed for the better. Will this have an effect on my burn rate? Anyone know?

Default Making the plunge

I would really like to make the plunge soon but still torn on which way to go. Looks like after tax time I can make the investment.
