Never heard of it until right now! I tried to chek their website, but it's veeeeery slow (hopefully just temporary), and I can't find any info on what the ingredients are. I'll have to keep an eye out to see if I can find it anywhere.

I like NuNatural's granulated Stevia. They come 100 packets/box and I think it's about as expensive as Splenda. I've never tried to bake with it, but it's good in tea/coffee.

I like the taste of Splenda -- I think it tastes the most like real sugar, BUT I've noticed that when I run out of Stevia and I don't have the time to make it to the healthfood store and I used Splenda instead, my weightloss stalls. Maybe that is for other reasons, but I noticed that happening to me twice.

My personal favourite is Splenda, it's made from sucralose which is derived from plain ordinary sugar. As fiberlover showed, it's not to everyone's taste but it certainly does the trick for me!

Have you tried erythritol?

I LOVE erythritol. It works really well in baking to add a bit of stevia, as they work together and become sweeter together than they are separately.

Yeah I was having trouble with slow websites yesterday too...fixed now though. Anyway, that's how I heard of it but didn't know if it was any good.

Sounds interesting, will have to try it out.

Here's an article about Stevia. The key is moderation :)

Here's a link that talks about all sweeteners:

I cut out all artificial sweeteners a few months ago and have been looking for a natural substitute since...for a while I just used real sugar. I don't do a lot of baking or anything like that so all I really wanted it for was my coffee in the morning. I'm not a fan of the stevia...at least not in my coffee. I've tried it several times and just don't like the taste. HOWEVER I finally found xylitol at a health food store (my mum did, actually) and it's perfect. Like erythritol, it's a sugar alcohol and completely natural. I think I'm in love...haha.
