step Congrats your kids look wonderful. There's nothing like a big family.
I have 12, seven boys, 5 girls, so far 27 grandchildern. and so many more that have come and just joined in.
stay a nite, stay a week, stay 6 months, lol On anygiven day I may wake up with 1 or 2 others sleeping on the spare beds in the outside garage. MOST are welcome. and it's better than having them wandering the streets.
. Like me you will never be alone LOL
My baby is 18 and I don't know how I did it
But when I look back it really is worth it

LOL Cheaper by the dozen - right!

My kids love that movie. I have friends with more kids than me too. I grew up with a family that had 17 kids. I am the oldest of 6 myself so I know what you are talking about with the - "never alone" part. When DH and I first married I had no concept of small meals. My dad was a caterer and making 1 box of mac & cheese was not a concept to us.

Mary congrats on the 12 kids and 27 grandkids! That's what I look forward to in the years to come.

My parents now have 16 grandkids between me and my siblings with 2 that don't have any offspring, and the rest who aren't "done".

My inlaws only have my kids for grandkids and they love it. :D

stephanie and Mary, I have to ask the question I get asked all the time... are you both on your first marriage and are all your children same mom, same dad. That is what everyone asks us. it is not unusual to have lots of kids these days for people who get married have some, divorce, get married or not, have some more... but for people to get married once and have 5, 7 or 12 is really unusual.

and any multiples? I wanted twins every time I got pregnant, but no.... not for me.

All have the same daddy (don't they look all the same, LOL) First marriage going on 10 years come June. I'm 32 and so is DH. All singletons and like you I have ALWAYS wanted twins too. So far I haven't gotten that lucky, LOL. Probably a good thing though since I tend to go early. I'd hate to see how early I'd go with twins.
