Good morning all J
Debbie……..I know what you mean about not wanting to screw up BF by offering a bottle. Some kids do just fine with both……others, not so much. I had to laugh about your line on forcing your youngest to be born. I think that is some personality type in itself. My youngest DS was the same way……and he was super fussy……..and oh so manipulative in his sweet innocent baby ways. He is just a sweetie now. With all but one of my kids, I went straight from the breast to the cup. It is sooo nice to not have to deal with the bottle dilemma. I started offering a cup to my kids at about age 5 to 6 months. I offered them both a sippy and a regular cup. It is messy to let them learn to sip from a regular cup that young, but it you use water and a bib, it is not too bad. It is super nice when you are out somewhere and they are thirsty, and you cannot locate their, “special,” cup. Also……..going from 3 to 4 kids was no big deal for me. The way I look at it, once you have three kids, you are already outnumbered……
. But, my kids are spaced out a bit different than yours are……..so it is really hard to say. I did have daycare kids years ago that were all around the same ages…….and that was difficult, but manageable……….however…….they all went home at 5:00. So…….I wish I had a more definitive answer for you………but I have a feeling you can handle it J Do you have any babysitters or family around you?
How did WI go Dionne?
Oh, Katie……..how I love Mexican food…….
Laurie….did you manage to stay OP yesterday?
Hi Michie and Kelly,….good to see you!!!
Yes, Barbara……..I did get my taxes done. Apparently, the state of Missouri thinks we are rich
. This is the first year EVER that we have had to pay the state. DH did make quite a bit more money this year than last though, so I guess I just need to be thankful for that J. There are so many less fortunate that us……….but sometimes that is hard to see when we feel like we are constantly juggling our finances…..
Dawn…….you would be surprised to see how many toddlers are walking up and down the aisles of airplanes, flirting with other passengers. I am sure she will be fine……especially if you can keep your own stress level at bay ( I know that is one of the biggest struggles of motherhood).
Liza………the bunting is just adorable!!!! I am so glad you posted a picture. I will try to find some extra minutes later and post a picture of the sweater/bonnet/bootie set I made for my granddaughter……..HOLY CRAP that seems weird to type….
.
Hooray Kim#2………it is so empowering to be back in control, isn’t it? You will be fine this weekend…….just keep remembering that food is for fuel…and how good you feel today!!!!
Grandma Cindy……I have always loved snow…….and I really miss it!!!
Dan……..take a little bit of time…..go buy a sled (if you can find one)…..and be a kid for a little while. Life it too short…….enjoy!!!!
Tuesday……….I do the same damn thing…..stress eat!!! I hope everything is ok……..I know it can be sooooooo scary!!!! Keep us posted…..and don’t apologize for sharing……that is what we are here for J
Debbie……….isn’t it amazing the amount of sleep you can learn to live on when you have babes in the house?
Oh, Dionne……that ia horrible about your cat. I hope today is a better day for you!!! And you my friend, had a total NSV (non scale victory)……you may have eaten out of stress…..but you stayed OP. That deserves on heck of a whoooohoooooo!!!
Kimberly………if lites work well for you……..use them. Don’t feel bad about spending the money on yourself…..YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!! Every stinkin’ penny!!!!!
Amylou……..wanna shoot for a 0.2 lb loss over the weekend with me? When I set myself a weekend goal….I almost always stay OP.
Big hellos to anyone I may have missed. I have three kids (my own) home today as two of them have the day off of school…….so keep your fingers crossed for me that they don’t argue too much J Have a great POP day everyone!!!
XOXO
