Crystal, If I want to use the George Forman for Chicken, I microwave it first a bit, and then grill it. So the microwave gets the inside cooked, and the grill browns it. Or you can to it the other way, grill and then microwave to get the inside. The Forman gill does best with things that are flat, like turkey burgers. (I was going to say steak and pork chops, but I figured someone would come on and tell me to stop eating those).

Not me.. I'm all about the steak and pork chops!!

I've found that our little GF grill does just "ok" on steaks and chops. I find that it dries them out.. That said, my mom does steaks on hers and they come out pretty good... We do salmon on ours, but haven't in a while because frankly, it's a pain in the butt to clean..

The trick is not to do anything too thick, at least on the smaller ones...

Dan, The new one I got has grill plates that come off, so I just throw them in the dish washer. It also has a temperature control, so I think if you turn down the grill, it does a better job of not drying things out. I tend to buy the thinner pork chops and steaks (as they are the smaller ones!)
