I'm up 3 lbs from last week, but considering the amount of Christmas partying we've been doing, it's not that surprising.. However, I'm back into the swing of things and will be back down to 190 before long...
I too went to Target this weekend in pursuit of a scale. I ended up buying (brb- have to go check the name brand--) Taylor scale. It was available in black and white. It also shows your BMI if you enter in height, etc. It has a lifetime accuracy guarantee on it.
I was one pound up from the COD when I weighed myself today on it, and I was not POP this past week, so I assume it's close enough.
I suggest picking one, the Taylor one is great and was only $25, and stick with it. You'll see a loss!
I got a Homedic Scale from Bed Bath and Beyond and it is only .2 lbs different than when I go to the COD. (I weigh right before to check the difference and it is always .2). Mine does the BMI and Water weight and it ran around $60, which is more expensive than the Target scale, but it also keeps the info for up to 4 people.
As long as you are weighing in on the same scale, it is going to give you the right weight loss, it just may be different from someone else's scale ... not to mention the ones in the store tend to take a beating from thousands of people trying them out constantly.
