Hi StillTryin - good luck on controling your eating while you are Holiday, just keep focused and don't undo all the good work you have done.

Yesterday I fell victim to halloween sized peanut butter cups! but they were so good!

Still trying -It's great your planning ahead. It also made me think I better go out and buy another bottle since I'm running low and I have the money. This way I can't put it off.

Thingirl - I have a teenage keeping me honest he's hiding the candy til trick or treat night. If I don't find and eat any I'm going to give him $20.00. Believe me I looked. (Accidently of course ) I think he took them to school. WTG DS!!!

Gotoget - Swords in hand!

I have the halloween chocolate in plain sight... I figured it would build character to see it and not touch it. Soon I'll be exposed to lots of wonderful and fattening foods - so I am practicing for that.

I told myself I could have a couple of peanut butter cups and next weekend I could have 2 more... so I will be strong until next Saturday before I get a treat again.

Morning All!!

Once more, the scale didn't drop. Bummer!!
Good news is that it didn't climb, either. Guess it's time to add something other than walking to my exercise plan.

I've got plans for Thanksgiving, and I'm sure I'll do better if I'm actively loosing, rather than maintaining. So, time to cut the crap and raise the bar.
My yard's full of leaves, so I think I'll start with that.

Meanwhile, here's a thought for today:

Never argue with an idiot, because onlookers will have trouble telling you apart.

halloween was the worse holiday for me. all the chocolate ! by this time i would have been on my 5 or 6th bag of the devils...not even wanting them this year. we are taking the grandkids trick or treating at the mall tomarrow so now the test is not raiding the trick or treat pumpkins one step at a time..

Beck - LOL at the thought of today!!!

Got2 - Chocolate is a major downfall for me! I had a friend that didn't like it. How in the world does someone not like chocolate!

Still, I think Monday will be the day for me also. I'll be gone starting Thursday evening to an Emmaus Walk (a Christian spiritual weekend). I have been on these walks before and I know there will be food, food, and more food. I plan to watch as closely as possible, and right now, I don't think I'll be taking my Alli with me. BUT maybe if I do, it will help to keep me more accountable.

Sounds like the Halloween candy has been interesting for everyone. We didn't buy anything special because we don't get anyone at our house. We do have snack size candies in the refrigerator all the time. I will eat one every now and then. Maybe that's why the temptation isn't so great.

Beck, my husband said he was going to drive past our old house and laugh about all of the leaves in the yard. I know there are over 20 trees in that yard, and that makes for quite a few leaves. Where we live now, someone does all of the yardwork for us. I like that!!

I agree about how someone could not like chocolate!!

Hey girls I have a question about something. I rarely ever get headaches but yesterday and today I have had bad migraines. I hope that isn't a side effect from taking Alli?! Anyone know if that is possible? I hope not because I really wanted to keep taking it.

When I first started Alli, the first couple of weeks I kept getting these nagging headaches... then they disappeared. As I recall, several other posters had headaches as well.

^oh really?! That is good to hear. I was hoping I wasn't the rare one person that had a bad reaction to it or something. I will keep taking it and hope that the headaches go away soon!

I didn't have headaches, but I know of others who did at the beginning. Could also be from a change in the eating habits. That happened to me when I started a very low carb diet many years ago.

Yes they went away within 2 weeks and I haven't had one since.... I'm sure it was the Alli - as I didn't change my eating habit, I had been dieting since May - and started Alli in July. I hadn't had a headache in ages and I was feeling them all the time and taking Advil. I'm certain it was Alli. I have not had a headache since late July. (Except the pretend ones... not tonight I have a headache) LOL
