I drove past my center and the name has changed to Pure Weightloss. Anyone know anything about a buy out? Has anyone else's center changed names? Does the diet change at all???

Sherry - there are a ton of posts in the LAWL threads about the name change. Most seem to be changing, but not all.

There are changes. Most of the changes are superficial, except now you are required to get bars and slimdowns (mac and cheese, bars (not LA bars, but meal replacement bars).

According to my COD mgr, the corporate owned centers are changing but the franchise centers will remain LAWL. I suppose they can change if they want, will probably involve increased franchise fees. If they wanted to change their name seems like they could have been more creative. Pure Weight Loss sounds a little lame to me.
