Quiche On Fast Forward?

  • Does Anyone Know If It Is Ok To Have Quiche While Doing Fast Forward I Was Going To Make One With:

    Egg Beaters
    Brocoli
    Spinich
    Ground Turkey??

    Is This Ok
  • Here's something from the LA @ Home website... (This could give you some ideas for some variations)

    Recipe Name: Weeknight Cheese Quiche

    Ingredients:
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained
    1/3 cup fat free salad dressing such as, MIRACLE WHIP® Dressing
    1/3 cup skim milk
    1 cup egg substitute or 8 egg whites
    4 eggs
    1 cup shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
    1 (9 inch) frozen prepared pie shell
    1/4 cup imitation bacon bits

    Preparation:

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add mushrooms and onion; cook 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in spinach; mix well.
    Mix dressing, milk and eggs until well blended. Add spinach mixture and cheese.
    Pour into pie shell; sprinkle with bacon bits.
    Bake 50 minutes or until set and golden.

    Makes: 8 servings

    Serving size: 1/8th recipe

  • OK... Just re-read your post. The quiche on FF part I missed. The quiche would be OK as long as you stick to your menu and no crust. Enjoy!
