Conversion?
Is there a good way to figure conversion of some foods?
For example, if I wanted ff refried beans, how would I know what they would be on LAWL without sending to the LAWL dietician? I don't see those and other foods I am interested in, in my plan book. --->>>Can we start a thread where people post things like this and their LAWL value? I would appreciate it. Sure would be a help to us newbies. For instance, my LAWL center said the 6 inch low carb tortillas (11 carbs or less) would count as 1 starch. Thanks for your help. Diane |

FF refried beans, lowest sodium possible of course would be 1 protein for 1/2 c. We could start a thread, but you'd have to see if Cassi could "sticky" it because with so many more threads than there used to be, it would get lost in a day or two if nobody posted. |

I have actually started posting in the newbie thread by cutting and pasting different things. I added the grapefruit to instructions, summer meltdown, and most recently the comparison of slimdowns to slimfast. I will add the comparison of LA Lites vs Zone bars if I ever find that again. I don't know if that's kosher but I got tired of trying to search for things that I knew had been posted. Those are commonly asked questions so the newbie thread seemed to be the right place for them. Cassi - if not just let me know and I'll stop.
