BBQ basting sauce
 
This is for those of you who don't like a thick sauce when you BBQ.. Not that we're really allowed all that much sauce.

This is not a sweet sauce despite the honey.

1 cup of white wine
2 tbs. of white wine vinegar
1 tbs. of honey
2 tbs. of low sodium whorchester sauce
dash of low sodium soy for some color
garlic/onion powders to taste

microwave for one minute.

remove to small sauce pan and bring to a boil. Then simmer until reduced by half or a thickness you desire.. Brush on chicken (or pork) as desired..

It's best to use it while it's still hot so it doesn't reduce the temperature of the food you're basting..

Be sure not to baste until the chicken's almost done, as the sauce may burn somewhat.
