hey guys--I also love my lites and have been surprised at how filling they are.
I've gotten a few lite "recipes" from the COD:
brownie in micro for a few secs=yummy goowy brownie
cookie dough sliced a few times and baked=mini cookies

Do you all have any more tricks up your sleeves in manipulating your lites into something more fun? I'd love to hear more ideas!

Also, I took home about 5 dif boxes for my first go round- but what are your favorite flavors of the lites so I can try some new ones soon!

thanks!

The lites are a life saver for me. I have one with a diet coke on the way home from work every evening and really feel like I'm treating myself after a hard day. Because I tend to want to "snack" while I'm fixing dinner this helps me keep from it.

Amy - I've never heard about baking the cookie dough lites. How long do you think it takes? I don't do the cookie dough because to me it's too sweet, but I think I'd try that.

Before they pulled the smores I would heat them up in the micro for a few seconds, they were great. I agree that caramel doesn't taste the same.

My all time favorite was honey nougat. I am a huge chocolate fan......but the honey nougat was sooo yummy with my coffee.

I totally think the la lite bars are worth it. They really help me control what I eat, because I like to have those sweet treats.
When I took a few months off from going to my COD I was eating the luna bars and they did not work that well for me. I was soo hungry all the time so I kept eating & eating all day long..things I should not of eaten. but now back with the lites I stay on plan.. they really do help me.

i'll have to try the honey nougat!

Cassi- my COD told me to put them in the toaster oven for just a few minutes (cutting it into thirds). I don't have a toaster oven so I will prob bake at 325 for 5 min. Haven't tried it yet- I felt the same way about the cookie dough when I tried it-but this could be a nice treat!
