Do I have to count as CC?

Days like today I work my FT job 8-5 and then my PT job 5-10 (I do this 2x week).
I try to bring enough food for the day -but what I'm wondering is...

I plan on a turkey sandwich for lunch today on lite wheat bread (w/ LF marg. & slice of cheese) - do/can I count it as 2S, 1P, 1D -
There's a CC turkey sand. in the book but it has lettuce & mayo - I don't do lettuce and not going to tote around a container of mayo :-)

I want to count it regular not CC because I'm not sure when I'd get in my starches otherwises. So can I count it normal today and the next time I have one count it as a CC when I know I'll "want/need" those extra starches??

Hey I'll take your extra starches if you're not gonna use em.

Is that legal Cassi, she's not using em anyway. ;)

I do it all the time with the Peanut Butter and Jelly. I make it on a waffle and count is as a S, 1/2P, and a Condiment.

I've done it the same way with the turkey, made it and plopped it onto a 100 calorie english muffin. And yes I cheated and put on a pickle, just don't tell the salt police.

You can count it regular, no problem. The carb craver option is to get those little extra treats in. But if you just count it on regular plan, you're good.

Shannon - I'll split her starches with ya!

Another question... posted here since it's related to sandwiches :-)

I used the WW whole wheat bread - 70 or 90 calories for 2 slices. That's still 2S choices?

Yes, it's still two starches. However, someone e-mailed the dietician about the Sara Lee light breat that's high in fiber (can't remember the excact name) and was told that two slices are one starch. I have been meaning to e-mail the dietician about Nature's Own Double Fiber Wheat but haven't done it yet. I think if the fiber is high enough and the sodium low enough, there are some breads that would count as 2slices=1starch. Just haven't had time to e-mail the dietician yet.

Anyone who wants to can have their COD e-mail the dietician, though.
