Crocs are the ultimate savior. I went fashonista and decided last minute not ot pack mine--this year the crocs are a coming. The genuine ones only cost a few $$ more than the payless version--well worht those few $$. Not like you're paying for food. :hun:
Dan it's Disney . . . it's not Disney without Popcorn and Turkey Legs, have to have the Turkey Legs--though it is Turkey so it might count as a protein :chin:! I did come back 5 pounds heavier when I went last time. But it was my last weekend before starting plan, and you send a bunch of 20 somethings during EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival--needless to say it took several days for my blood alcohol level to retun to normal. My trick for this year, I know I'll be well into maintence by October, I'm simply sticking with salads and protein for meals. I'm going to need at least 3 starches and 3 fruits for adult beverages daily. |
Water water water! When I went to Disneyland in February, I didn't pack/carry enough water. I'm pretty picky about my water, so we bought bottled at the C-store next to our hotel. I made the kids each pack a bottle and DH and I each packed 2. I drank everyone's! Bottled water in the park is pretty spendy, so I would pack a lot in the morning and, of course, your load will lighten throughout the day.
I love my airwalks (to me, they are "squishier" than Crocs). I opted for some at Payless that look like river sandals, instead of the clogs. I bought some bright orange ones at the start of the summer last year, and joked about having "clown shoes". Only color they had, but I was happy to give up fashion to be comfortable! Then in late summer, I found some black ones in the men's section. I bought 4 pair of them, because it never fails - I find something I like, and they stop making it. |
