Jillian - No problem if you do it tomorrow or Tuesday.....I'm more curious to see how we all do poundwise. LeaAnn can post her success on Tuesday morning; you post on Wed, and Kim and I will post on Thursday. I'll be curious to see how we all do. I'm actually going to do more like the FF since I'm not going to eat any lites....figure I may as well go for the gusto!

I thought of you tonight, Jillian. I have a Super Walmart about 2 blocks from my house and noticed they were starting to building something else on an empty lot and I'll give you ONE guess what it's going to be? It's going to be a goldmine since it's on the right side of the street for the god awful morning traffic this city has. I have to laugh. Folks go to Walmart to save, save, save; then as they are leaving, they will run into Starbucks to get their $3-$4 cup of Joe!

Hello everyone!!!

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine ended better than it started definitely. I saw Chancey (furkid) today for about 4 hours and gave her a really good brushing. I took so much fur out of her she should be bald but alas she is still shedding like a fiend. I am hoping that when I am off in a weeks time we will have at least one really nice day while I am over to see her and I can give her a bath as that really helps with her shedding. Then I spoiled her with a Beneful treat (mommy has to be good for something right??? Joni back me up here!!!). Today was one of those days that I was able to really enjoy. I went and visited mom after I left the ex's house and then home to get supper ready. I had a friend coming over for supper. I made spagetti using the multigrain pasta and it was really good. Now I have tons of sauce left over too but I will freeze that and use it again in a few weeks in something.

Then tonight I had a chat with the ex on the phone about some upcoming schedule changes for me in the next month as that will affect when I see Chance. He was totally agreeable which completely threw me for a loop but I was very glad for.

I start training in a few weeks for a new client we have starting at work and I will be training for at least 4 weeks for either 730a-330p or 4p-12a each day. I am desperately hoping for the early shift. But then after that I should have a set shift of days only which I can't wait for again. The training will be intense as I have to learn it very quickly and become and expert in it as I have to score the calls. But I am looking forwrd to the challenge and the change in the daily grind.

So, this was a tad longer than I thought it would be. Thanks for listening though!!! I'll be back later or in the morning.

Lea Ann - I love your new Avatar! You are a hottie for sure :-) Putt Putt and go-karts sound like a lot of fun!!! My office is looking for a team building activity, maybe I will suggest that one.

Letisha- Good to see you! Let me know if you try any of the new lites, I am dying to try them but my COD has not received their shipment yet.

Wendy - Look at you...all skinny and pretty! The new avatar is awesome, congrats on your success. Happy belated b-day!

Kim - Glad to hear your hip is feeling better. I hope this week isn't too tough on you!

Joni - Thanks for the Grey's link...juicy!!! Love the Starbucks next to Walmart...so typical. I do have a confession....One of the reasons I love to go to Target is because they have a Starbucks INSIDE the Target...genius I tell ya :-)

Well Friends...TO is now officially over! Now I go the next 4 days on a modified Purple Plan...I will have a slimdown for lunch (P,S) and then the regular Purple with lites. I travel to Chattanooga on Tuesday and have purchased a little lunchbox cooler for my car and will take my fruit, veggies and a slimdown. Keep your fingers crossed.

Here's to a successful week for all! My goal this week is drink all my water and exercise 3 days this week. I think I will start a weekly goal thread...might help!

Hugs to all :-)

Libby - I didn't go to the unveiling, but the house is BEAUTIFUL! It will air on the 2-hour season finale May 20th. The house is on a cul-de-sac, and because of the potential for traffic gawkers they had police stopping everyone from going down there for about a week after the unveiling. Pretty inconvenient for the homeowners there (they got a pass for their windshields) but apparently most of the neighbors got new sodded front lawns as part of the deal, so nobody cared.

Hey gang...

Well, this weekend started out well, but as I feared, the party was a bit hard to handle... One of the parents brought not only a bag of chips, but 5 of them... One kid brought a big sheet cake with a chocolate mousse filling AND a tub of ice cream...

I had a burger and had saved my starches for the bun.. no worries.. But what started out a just a few chips, turned into a few more.. and probably a few more.. sigh.. Oh yeah.. Liz and I shared a piece of cake.. A small one, but still... On the sunny side, we both ate plenty of veggies...

Think I'll do a take off tomorrow.. haven't done one in a while, but I really have to get back on the POP track.. Dunno what my problem is...

For those of you doing TO with grapefruit.. it helps a great deal to peel and remove the membrane from the fruit -- cuts the sour/bitterness. Good luck to you all!

Lea Ann - that 3rd Lite was a typo.. my page must have flipped while I was typing it out or something. I only had 2 lites each day.

Thanks for the grapefruit tip Wendy but I must admit, I don't think I've ever peeled a grapefruit in my life.....Jillian, I stepped on the scale this morning and had a LeaAnn moment and knew that I had to do my LA Express starting TODAY (TO without the Lites or referred to by some as Fast Forward). I went to the gym early this morning and stopped and got some really good red grapefruit, chicken, tuna, lettuce, cucumber and one of the new Wishbone spritzers. I'm set!

Hey Dan - you've got no problem sir......you're only human like the rest of us. Sounds like you may be on the TO wagon for a couple days too.

Deb - good luck staying POP on your trip. I know how tough this is to do. Just think how good you'll feel if you stick to plan.

Alannah - Glad you and Chancey had some quality time. and, yes, treats, in moderation are good for our 4-legged kids too.

Wendy, that was one thing I thought would never let up. Was the eyes getting dry and blurry and needing drops. But that passes too, before you know it you will be drop free. Every once in a while, like once or twice a year. My eyes will get blurry and I will think oh know my eyes don’t see as well, and then I will put in some drops and be fine.
Glad you are enjoying your eyes! Also WOW you look so good!!!

Kim, I had been wondering about the Extreme Makeover house too, I will have to mark my calendar! Bet you are glad that is over.

Well I had a bad weekend, I don't know what my problem is, but every time I do TO, when I get done, I binge. the better I do with TO the bigger I binge, this being my best TO ever, losing 4.6 lbs I started binging right after my friday WI and didn't stop til last night. and I only say it stopped because I havent eaten yet! I hope I can get back on track, Got home from camping last night and I was up 7 lbs!!!! but then alot of that was Water and other things not moved on through the system yet. this morning I was up 2.6, things and moved out of the system, but fingers are still puffy, so HLW tons today and we will see what happend tomorrow. but why do I do that! It is like my body didn't want to lose all that that fast so it is making up for lost time.

I better go eat something before I eat everything!

Lettie - interesting what you said about doing the TO. I haven't done one in a while, so, hopefully, I'll stay on course. Maybe it will help doing it on a Monday and Tuesday cause it's easier for me to stay on plan during the week. It's those weekend that kill me...and oh geez, Cinco de Mayo!

hey everyone. just getting started with today's TO (using grapefruits). i haven't done one since i started LAWL and did the FF, so I'm actually looking forward to it. I didn't stray too far off plan this weekend, but ate tons of carbs and would really like to get back on track, so hopefully this will help.

here's my plan for the next 2 days:

b- 1/2 grapefruit, water
s-luna bar, water
l-egg beaters, lettuce w/salad spritzer, 1/2 grapefruit, water
s-1/2 grapefruit, water
d-egg beaters, lite salt, broccoli
s-1/2 grapefruit, luna bar

Well, I got weighed on Saturday morning...didn't do as bad as I thought. I actually lost 3lbs since my last WI! Sooo, now I'm back to where I was before my previous WI because at my last one I gained 3lbs! lol Things could be trouble for me now...it's BBQ season again!

Just remember not to use a bunch of sauces, Jason.. My favorite BBQ sauce for mopping is apple juice with a splash or two of vinegar, just a dash of worchester sauce and some garlic powder.. I HATE really sweet sauce, so I at least can skip the sugar that way.. The apple juice is just tart enough....

So, I'm doing TO but here's the kicker.. Our COD is completely out of lites.. There's not a box left.. Not even the nasty lemon bars... I have one chocolate bar left, so I'm good for half of today, but what about the rest of the week?

Can I get by with an extra fruit? I know I'm not supposed to do fruit other than my oranges during TO, but what's a guy to do?

I'm hoping they got a shipment on Saturday, but I'm not holding out hope...

Dan--go and buy a few luna bars or the kashi go lean bar in the mean time til your center gets some in. just a suggestion..just so you don't have to deviate from the TO regimine.
