And Dan - You do know I'm just kidding with you. I'm actually so tuned into salt now it's not even funny. I don't add it to anything anymore and I really notice it when I eat out. Today I went to Luby's for lunch thinking I was doing good I got baked talapia (delicious), some kind of cooked cabbage and a mixed zuchinni/squash for my veggies. The cabbage was good but soooooooo salty. I've been terribly thirsty since I got back to work and I've just about chugged my entire glass of water. This from the girl who used to sit and eat a lemon with half a salt shaker.
So you really have converted me but if you read this I'll deny it.
Kristen - WOW yougogirl

Closing Eyes Dan
DH is still playing taps while burying the old bras.. went from 40DD to a 36B
He'll never be the same!
FYI This is a great site that talks about body shapes and healthy waist sizes.. I think the BMI is still off sometimes as it doesn't take a person's body frame into consideration

Must be why my DH keeps telling me I've lost enough weight. He's afraid it will start coming off the taa-taa's LOL I started at a 40DD, still in a 36D so he's happy LOL Although a breast lift would be nice. Considered it along with the TT but it was an extra 5 grand. Not doable with 2 kids in college next year, ugh!

Hi Everyone!
So-I leave on Friday for Vietnam! Yesterday we were informed that there may be some delays in the process in Vietnam-and it was possible we would need to stay longer. Mom and I decided to go ahead and change our return flight now, rather than having to deal with it in Vietnam. We are now returning home on June 4th. If we get done with the US Embassy early, we may try to leave sooner-however, flights out of Hanoi are very difficult to get. Apparently, it's quite the hot spot for tourists in SE Asia. We also only have a 30 day visa, so we'll have to get extended ones while we're there. It was suggested we consider arriving in Hanoi a week later so that we don't have to stay in country for so long-but since I will be able to Josie next week-there's no way I'm delaying my trip. It just means we'll have even longer to explore Josie birth country. And I hear it's just beautiful. Even in the rainy season!
We're staying at the Somerset hotel-which has little apartments. We'll have a kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 bedrooms, and a living room. I think we'll be quite comfortable. There's also a pool-can't wait to take Josie swimming.
I will update my blog with pics and videos while I'm there.

LOL Dan, you were supposed to close your eyes on that part! But I'm glad yours are smaller!
JM- I cant even begin to imagine how excited you are! You're going to be a terrific mother. I hope you have a great time on your trip!

Wow JM - You can turn it into a nice Josie-filled vacation.
My SIL/BIL purchased a lot of souvenier/historic items to give to their adopted sons when they get older (Russia, not Vietnam). You'll have lots of time to get tons of video too!
I can't wait to be reading about your endeavours on your blog.

Shannon - yeah.. the part where I wrote to have a good day everyone.. that was at the end! It ended up in the middle of my post somehow.. I dunno!!
Kristen - Can you post a transcript of your next MIL Drunk Dialer session? I'm so curious!
I've lost more off of my bb's than my butt.. and it's kinda depressing! I also lost my wedding rings the other night while I was sleeping! My fingers must have lost some weight too!

Oh yes, Wendy, I always comment that my fingers will be wearing a bikini long before I do. Which is just what I've always wanted - slender fingers!!

Joni......is that the same article that said it is not necessarily true that you have to drink a glass of water for every caffeinated drink you consume if you normally consume it? I was kind of suprised about the 9 servings of fruits and veggies also.....but that would never bother me, as I love salads (always have...my friends used to tease me when we would go out to eat, and I would order a salad as a teenager.) and fruits. Don't you just love new info? And, ahem, maybe you ought to make that appt with your general practitioner today........it's not that bad....heck, I don't even have to get all the way naked at mine, as I get my PAP done at the O.B.
Anywhoooo, Kristen, Kristen, Kristen........you ARE like a Barbie now!!!! 10 more pounds, huh? I totally understand wanting more......just take it slow. It is going to get extremely tough to lose now, as you are probably already at your ideal weight. But, I totally and completely understand wanting just a bit more.....so go for it, baby!!!! Also, I know we have been discussing the "walmart bag" syndrome......and lucky lucky Kim is going to get hers gone in just a few short weeks.......but I wanted to remind you that your body will take care of some of that problem for you......only thing is, it is going to take it's sweet time doing it. I don't know about you, but after each pregnancy and bout of breast feeding......I really felt like my skin was too big for what was in it........and then, after a year of so..........it got somewhat better. I don't know if you experienced the same thing or not....and everyone's skin is a bit different.......but after 3rd DD was about 4, yeah, it was 4, and I had gotten thin (140ish) when she was about 6 months old, and stayed thin for those 4 years......and would you know that I wore a bikini in St. Lucia!!!! I should see if I can find the picture.....cuz I still cannot believe it was me. Sure, I had to tuck just a bit of my really low tummy skin into my bottom......but they weren't granny panty style bottoms by any means..........it just took my body a lot of time to believe it didn't need to fill that skin back up soon. Granted, that was 6 years ago, and my skin has aged since then......but, I really believe that it takes time........so try to be patient my friend, and please recognize how extremely well you have done!!! You did it. Now, please believe it!!!
JM.....I wouldn't beable to wait either. What time do you fly out on Friday?
Ok, I know there was more I wanted to catch up on.....but I really need to get my butt to work here.......hey, where is Lettie?

Katie - I'm watching Gibson, the world's tallest Great Dane - he's on Oprah. When he stands he is taller than Shaquille O'Neil. They just showed him sitting in seats 10B and 10C on the plane (yes, regular coach seats on Ted Airlines....and if that weren't enough, he says "I love you..."
