Katie - Oh so cute pup! I am jealous. I want a puppy so bad. Think the other 2 dogs might get very jealous though. They are pretty spoiled.

Barb - Deb has a great cookbook.....if you PM me (or her) with your email address, I can forward to you. It's a large word document, but organized and great to keep online.
Juliemarie - The challenge is on. I'm going to PM you your reward but suffice it to say, if you are good, Josie will reap some benefits. I know it doesn't seem fair; you sacrifice for the sake of your child, but isn't that what all mom's do? I think I just figured out why I'm not a mom! LOL

Oh, Katie - congrats on your puppy. Yes, it is hard to believe she only popped out one...but puppy looks pretty big.
Hope the gold plan works for you. Guess 2 oz lost is better than a gain of any kind. Hang in there.

Katie, you're on red?? at 165? I've been on gold since 178. It was indeed heartbreaking to lose that starch... By the way, did you get my PM about the 8 week plan thing?

Nicole - Your strawberry patch sounds delish! I LOVE fresh berries, yummy. My nephew is 2 and is attempting to poop on the potty. He watches an Elmo Potty video that is hilarious, I like to watch it just for giggles. LOL
Angie - Congrats...4.2lbs...wow!!!!
Dan- I am a sucker for movie poporn too! I just crave it sometimes. Love the new pic...you're a hottie!
Paula - Size 12!! WTG (doing the happy dance)
Letisha - Congratulations on breaking the 60's!!!
Cassie - I can't wait until you open your first resaurant....I know you will!!!
Erika- Slower paced life, what's that?! Seriously, that's one of the reasons I feel like I gained so much weight. Now that I have taken the steps to reduce some of the stress in my life and to slow things down a bit I am starting to have a turn around in the WL area. Yoga is an awesome way to relax...unless your me. I am way to embarrased to try it (I'm really uncoordinated).
Today was a good day. I was OP even though TOM arrived and he really wanted me to have lots and lots of chocolate. I fought hard and eventually settled for a Choc Crunch Lite. I changed my Avatar to a picture of me with Buddha in Hawaii! I am the one on the left..LOL Seriously, that is the LAST fat picture you all will see of me!
Congratulations to all who have made it through another day of challenges. Tomorrow is a fresh start so let's stay OP, we can do it!!!!
Hugs!

What did they count it as? Just a starch?

OK - Took me a few minutes and a few posts somewhere else to figure out this is where everyone went!
Had my WI today and was down 1 lb. - I'll take it. Especially since it's TOM.
Letisha - Twin - Hi. Hope all is well and that you had a good weekend.
Gotta update my ticker - yay!

Good evening all!
HOORAY! I can smell and taste again! Kelli, I bought the nasal saline spray and although it wasn't my favorite thing to do, I think it did the trick. I am not back to 100% but it is much better.
I had another business lunch today and we went for Thai food. We shared the salad rolls...have any of you had those? They are so yummy. It's transparent rice paper stuffed with bean sprouts, lettuce, a little shrimp and a little chicken. I also had the basil garlic chicken. Lots of veggies...green beans, mushrooms, etc and only a little bit of rice. Probably a bit of sodium but I tried to limit the sauce. I did have a big old POP weekend what with the whole no tasting anything. Not hard to stay OP with that affliction. Now I am a little scared to go home for Easter and all the good midwestern food!
Cassie...glad you are back! Sounds like you and I had the same illness. Yuck! BTW, I am SO jealous that you are going to culinary school. Man! If I won the lottery I would quit my job, go to culinary school and open a cafe. I love to cook.
Kristen...the way you are shrinking, all our names would require two of your skinny legs instead of one!
Katie...that puppy is the bomb. How cute! I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off of him. Are you keeping it or selling it? How much did he weigh?
Hi to everyone else and here's to a POP week to all. Wish me luck on WI tomorrow...I have high expectations for a big drop.
PS> Went to Macy's with DF on Saturday night and tried on a size 8 CK jeans. A little tight but the were 8's! I am not dropping $70 on jeans until the tag says Size 6!

Morning all! Hey East Coast, wake up already!
Vic- I did not weigh him. Thanks for the reminder. I usually weigh all of the puppies everyday and track their gains. I totally forgot this time. I pulled him out last night and was suprised how skinny and bony he felt. After observing him nursing, I discovered that he is nuring on nipples with very little milk, near the top. I moved him down lower to fuller areas, and his little tummy was round in no time. When I checked on him in the night, he was back up top again, so I moved him back down. We will be selling him. I cannot take the thought of having 3 Great Danes. Wonderful dogs, but way too big to have a herd of them! Wonderful news on the jeans!
How do you folks on gold organize your food for the day? I have to be at work at 5:20 AM these days. I am worried about starving to death, LOL. My scale at home rewarded me with a 2 lb loss this morning, however.

Morning everyone. We're a bit sluggish in the east here.....
Katie - no real suggestions on how to organize the food on the gold plan.
I like a lot of mini meals, so tend to do the
breakfast: fruit/dairy
mid morning - fruit/lite
lunch - 1P, 1V, 1F, 1S
mid day - 1F, 1 lite
dinner - 1P, 2V, 1S
I cannot remember if you do lites or not and aren't you exercising a lot? Are you sure you'll get enough food on gold?
Vic - LOL "I am not dropping $70 on jeans until the tag says Size 6!"
Kelli - sorry I fooled you. For the record, I have zilch artistic talents.
Well, I have one good day under my belt and the scale was down 2 lbs.....I'll take it.
