JM- At 10 months, she will definitely not need a slow nipple. She should be able to hold her own bottle with out a problem, and have a fast flow. Also, by 10 months, she will be able to sit in the high chair and feed herself finger foods like crackers, banana chunks, and soft veggies like green beans and peas. Pasta, like macaroni is okay too.

Wow, y'all have been busy today. Thanks for all the good wishes for my DD. We let her sleep in this morning, and then I took her in to school a little late because she seemed to be doing much better. Didn't get any phone calls to come get her, anyway. School bus should be here in about 20 minutes. I skimmed through the posts, but it was a little difficult today. They dilated the heck out of my eyes at my pre-op appointment today. I tried to go shopping afterwards, but I couldn't read any of the darn tags!! Anyway, I did pick up some talk about the "meat show" and "salty chat". Y'all are too funny!! Okay, need to go fold some clothes before the bus comes. Take care!!

I love Pete Shweaty!!! Don't know if I spelled that right or not.........oh, good times, good times
Do any of you ever watch 30 Rock? It's kind of out there......but I love Alec and Tina........they were really good friends of mine on Saturday nights before, and now they keep me company on Thursday nights. So what is this with Alec and his daughter thingie??? I know nothing, I live a sheltered life......

Nicole - if you go to msn's home page, you'll see his picture. Click on it and you'll find an article from a woman sticking up for him and you can listen to the nasty voicemail that he left his 12 year old daughter.

Boy, y'all got really chatty today. Funny to read; anyone new to this thread is probably saying WTF and heading over to South Beach forum. Their loss!
Kim - you need to get one of those doggie diapers (seriously) for when the bichon visits and insist that he wear it. A friend of mine has two male yorkies...one does fine; the other marks. He has to wear a doggie diaper when he's in the house. That's ridiculous that they bring him along and let him mark your home. Even more ridiculous that they don't come prepared with a bottle of Nature's Miracle to clean up after him.
Kristen - that is odd about Jaimie....I see you've already gotten a bit of advice. Personally, my nightmares are tied to tv or news shows. Has she been watching any new videos that may upset her? BTW, love your new avatar.....the girls (your daughters) are adorable.....it's an itty bitty picture, but the DH looks like a keeper too! You lucky thing you! Oh wait, he's a lucky guy!
Wendy - like your new pics too. You're so good about keeping up with that. Something tells me you're the family photo buff.
I spent too much time catching up; gotta get some work done.
Kim (TN) - Pls keep your head out of the oven!! Things will get better.
I have to stick my nose in about the Alec Baldwin tirade (sp??). While I do not necessarily condone what he did, I'd love to know how that call got released to the public. I watched several relationship experts talking about this and, of course, there are many mixed msgs. But, we (the public) don't know all the facts and I, for one, can tell you that I've seen some 12 year olds that would actually warrant getting a little parental verbal abuse. The sad part here is that Kim Bassinger and Alec are using their daughter as a go between. okay, off my soapbox.
