Nicole- I'm so excited I cant stand it. Somebody asked me if I was scared, I said I guess I'm too stupid to be scared. I'm just looking forward to the results so much that I think the pain and recovery will be completely worth it. I've been on the "TuckThatTummy" forum just reading as much as I can about the recovery process. The nice thing for me will be that I'll have as much time to recover as I need. Since I work at school, I'll be off the whole summer, so I dont have to push myself to get back to work. Somebody asked me if I would post before and after pictures. I'll do the befores as soon as I get brave enough LOL

OMG, Nancy...I would be so upset! I've been watching and reading all kinds of news stories about VA Tech and my heart is absolutely breaking. And then to have to go through a "test" with no warning of it coming...UGGHHH!!! You poor thing!
Welcome, Michelle!! You're gonna love it here! These girls (and Dan) have given me soooo much motivation!
Welcome back, Nicole! I just love your avatar...you're like a ray of sunshine
Kim - when is your TT? I'm so jealous! I hope to get something done to boost my body once I hit goal...maybe a boob lift. I would also like to get thermage (sp??). I always see that done on TLC's 10 Years Younger...it's like an instant facelift.
Paula - I should have posted you first...Great News!!!
WTG Dan on the size changes!!!
Hello Katie, Joni, Deb (wanna see the new "do")...and everyone else!!!

Lettie -- I'll join you. I went to WI this a.m. and was up .2 since Saturday. Not bad considering the weekend I had.
Welcome Michelle!
Nicole -- Way to stay strong on FF!
Kristen -- When is the next WI? Can't wait to celebrate you getting to goal!
Kim -- I had a breast reduction about 9 years ago, and I was the same way. So excited to see them go that the risks barely even crossed my mind.
Hi to everyone else!

G'morning everyone!
Just returned from WI.. down a 1/2 pound more.. and I've finally crossed the 20# mark! I also have a new dress & shoes on today that I bought and the cod girls made me do a runway model and spin for them! It was quite a boost and a great start to the day!
I have to go interview a new victim.. I'll be back again later!
Nicole - I'm here to kick your butt!! Stay POP today! :-)

Tina- my surgery is May 22, 35 days,(yes I'm counting them down) LOL I thought about a breast lift too but that would have added another 5 grand and I guess for a 44 year old mother of 3 whos lost 60 pounds, mine dont look too horrible, I think I can live with it LOL now I might change my mind in another few years but right now I'm going to jump up and down and celebrate when I get rid of the flab hanging on my lower tummy. The muscle repair and the flat stomach will just be icing on the cake. I would have been happy with just the excess skin gone!

Wendy (the NEXT Top Model) - WTG on the 20 lb mark. I was there once a while back and I'll get there again. Won't we Nicole!!
Speaking of Nicole -- you asked if you should cut your hair..I think your avatar is really cute with that length of hair, but I'm not the one that has to wash, style, etc. your hair. I say you'd look cute with short or long hair. What does DH think? I used to wear mine super duper short, and DH has made several comments that he likes it better now, so I tend to keep it a little longer for him. But you can google "hairstyle upload photo" and play around on some websites to see if there is something that floats your boat. Some of these sites charge, but I'm sure there is a free one in there somewhere. Don't spend too much time looking though...you have a job here at LAWL to keep us entertained.
Kristen - where are youuuuuuuuuuuuu??????????????? Did you make goal and move over to one of those maintainer sites? Are you sitting off in a corner finishing off the easter baskets?
Nancy - that was rather poorly timed. Glad you are okay.
Lettie - that is great on the exercise routine. I'd be happy if I kept up with once a day - I've gotten exercise in two days in a row and I need to keep it up.
Cassi - have you cooked anything yet at school or does that come much later in the program? Had any vocabulatory words that you didn't already know what they meant? How's DH handling things on the homefront?
Gotta run - lots of work to do.

OK I asked this in another thread but no responses...hopefully this thread will have more action.
Carb Cravers - do you use them?
It seems like something that you'd normally count as 2S and 1P for let's say a peanut butter sandwich, you'd just count a CC and then you still have 2 starches and 1P on your meal plan. How would you lose weight doing that? I actually forgot my book today but I remember there was a limit on how many times to use them but still....

 Congratulations Wendy II !!!!
Shannon -- Okay, as my friend Lisa likes to say "our closets are arranged differently" You are the type who wants to understand the way things work, and me, I don't question the magic that lets us eat things like pizza, pb sandwiches etc...I just revel in it. I'm also in complete denial when I hear that there will be no CC's when the new menus are released. *lalalala, can't hear you*

Shannon........I believe the concept behind carb cravers is that mixing up your menus is a good thing. Also.......we all live in the real world.....and sometimes, say when you are at a social event, there are no good food choices. That is when pizza and a salad become your friends. Also......if you just have to have something naughty.......you are covered. Noone ever got fat from 2 pieces of pizza once a week.........it's when you eat 2 pizzas 2 times a week that you begin to have a problem. Also.......I am pretty sure it is counted as a protein only, becuase we are often creatures of habit..........and if you normally eat certain exchanges for your snacks......it may be very tough to plan your daily menus if you include a CC. If a CC is counted as a protein, then it is most likely going to be consumed as breakfast, lunch, or dinner.......and most CC are pretty high in calories, as proteins are higher in calories than most other exchanges. Also....you can certainly lose weight if you stay OP all week, and enjoy one CC. I hope that makes some sense.......and, when I was really kicking some butt......I ate pizza once a week........if for no other reason than getting a night off of cooking

Joni..........I always think I want a shorter hair cut......but really I don't. I want super-d-duper long hair.......but my hair sucks, and it won't grow much past my shoulders. It is too fragile......whimpy like, and breaks easily. Oh well........God is fair, right? LMAO. DH never wants me to cut it.....and while I do take that into consideration..........some days I really just want some change. And some days I just think.......well.......maybe I won't look fat with shorter hair.......LOL.

Joni - next top model?? I think not.. thanks for the kudos though.. I appreciate it! Felt good to more my name to the 20# chart today at cod. And yes.. don't let Nicole fall behind!!
Nicole - Hair. Here's the thing about hair. If you cut it off, it grows back. So if you decide to cut it, eventually it will be long again if you want it to be. If you really hate it, you can pull a Brittney and shave you head and wear a wig. The options are limitless!
Jillian - I gotta get my butt on the treadmill some more.
Where's Kristen?? Where's Cassi?? People are going MIA or AWOL.. take your pick.
