Evening gang, and greetings from lovely Carlsbad, NM.. It's a cute little city with a great riverfront area..
Today's meetings went well and thankfully, all they had to snack on was fruit.. Since I had already eaten my fruit for the day, I didn't find it hard to resist..
We went to a BBQ place for dinner and I stayed on plan, having turkey and a salad.. Probably a bit high in salt, but I've had at least 100 oz. of water today, so I should be ok...
NSV time.. I actually had to take pants back to the store yesterday and exchange them for a smaller size.. I hadn't even had a chance to wear them yet.. They were 44's and I'm now a very comfortable 40..
I also bought 3 new shirts, size "L", down from the XXL or even XXXL I was wearing last September..
Yay for me!!
Keep it up ladies (and guys!!).. If I can keep this up, so can you!

Shannon- In the new menu book, 1/2 c. nonfat, no sugar added is a dairy, along with SF, FF pudding. I like that better than a starch!!
Paula- I am so happy for you that you biopsy came back negative. I'll tell you a story now that it's all out of the way. A couple of years ago they found a lump on my mom. She went in for the biopsy and the nurse had the needle thing in her and snipped too soon. She hit a vein and my mom started bleeding like crazy. It took them 45 minutes to stop the bleeding. There were really considering giving her a transfusion cuz she was bleeding so badly. Her whole chest was bruised and purple, it was not a pretty sight. Needless to say she was not happy in the least. The good thing is that it was just a fatty mass.
Nicole- Welcome back from WI. Good to have you back. Go into your edit options and you can show 40 posts per page. I am only showing 19 pages. Same amount of posts, but you don't have to change pages as often. Seems like less then.
I just chopped my hair off. I was trying to grow it out and just got sick of it. I've has several people tell me that it makes me look younger. Hey if that is the case, it stays short forever.
Dan- Super job on staying on plan so good and getting those smaller clothes!!!
WendyII- Love the new pic!!!

Deb - post a picture of the new "do!"
Birthday Boy Dan - plain and simple, you ROCK! Proving you can be away from your normal environment and do well on the program is a huge victory in my book. And then you top off this great success story with getting smaller clothes.
Did anyone watch DWTS (Dancing with the Stars). The performance with Apollo was great! I forgot to vote...and it's too late now.
Night all.................

Joni - I saw DWTS! You're right Apolo was great. I have decided I want a body just like his partners. Of course, she is only 18 and probably 6% body fat. Hmmmm, probably not too realistic. But a nice fantasy anyway.

Wow, where is everybody???? It's like 8:30 central time, and noone has posted yet. Creepy. I stuck it out on FF yesterday, so hopefully today will go as well, and I will at least drop a couple of my naughty girl pounds. How is everyone doing this fine day?

Mornin' nicole. I was poking around earlier but got stuck on another string. Yea one day down one to go!! good for you.
I am going to go weigh in this morning. I avoided it yesterday. I have been hitting the treadmill hard. I was inspired by one of the before and afters on the main page here. the girl that went from like 300+ and all she did was exercise and change her eating habits. she exercises twice a day. so I am trying to fit that in. got two 45 min sessions in on sunday. one 45 min session yesterday and 30 so far this morning.
K better go weigh in before I chicken out!

good luck at WI Lettie........just go, you will be glad (I hope, LOL). It is almost always a good thing to go to WI.
Ok, I guess I am going to take my boys to my girlfriend Julia's at around 10 when I bring DD to school.......and I don't really feel like going, but it will be fun for them. Anywhooooo, I will check back before I go, I am sure
XOXO

Hello everyone,
I am just starting lawl today with the FF plan. I went to the store last night and got lots of healthy food (including all of the green veggies I could think of).
I will try to set up a profile, ticker, and all of that soon, but I should probably get some work done first!

This is so not funny!! I work at at a university, and just had "warning" to stay indoors away from windows. Everybody freaked out-- Just to get another message after 10 minutes of stress, that it was just a "test"... Couldn't they put the word "test" right after the "emergency"??? People!
HiYa Nicole! Good to see you back! Have you heard from the Home Depot??

Thanks Nicole! They kinda made it difficult. I normally chop it all up and throw it in a bowl all together then just spoon it into the muffin tins. I guess their way you get even amounts in every cup. I also like the idea of sauted onions. Again, I just chopped em and threw em into the bowl. I will try it this way next time. I was counting them wrong then because I counted 2 as 1 p since the muffin tins were so small.
Thanks again and welcome back!
