Hi everyone- hope everyone is having a good day. I will be so glad when are bathroom renos are done. Last night when we went to put the sink in my DH noticed one of the new tiles cracked - so we will be replacing that one this weekend. Hmm .. I decided I don't need to go to the gym to use a stairmaster - I just need to "assist" DH when he is doing renos. I don't know how many times I went up and down the stairs to get things for him.
Katie- that must have been so scary with that mom. Sounds like you did the right things in handling her.
Cassi- Glad you are enjoying school. There is nothing like following your passion.
Angie- My DD(? ) seems to be drifting along to her content. She has dropped in to "visit" and use the phone a couple of times. She seems happy right now so we shall see. As awful as this sounds it is much better at here without her moods to deal with.
My DS was so tired yesterday ( stayed up to watch the Canucks hockey game with 4 OT periods) that when he got home he left his key in the lock then locked the deadbolt from the inside. Luckily he was only home about 30 minutes before me. It was kind of funny when I told him- he didn't believe me.
Whoever posted about the cake with peanut butter icing( sorry I can't remember your name) it sounds wonderful - thank god I don't have that recipe. I would gain all my weight back!
Have a POP day all

One of my friends and former co-workers who got RIF'd the same day I did, opened up a "My Girlfriends Kitchen" with her husband. You are right Cassie, you have to use the recipes from corporate. However, the great thing is that all the food is fresh and customers can tweak them when they are putting them together - like not including the cheese or butter, adding extra veggies, etc. I have done it a couple of times (before I started LAWL) and for the most part found some pretty healthy meals. They even tell you how many WW points for each serving. Of course, there are the kid friendly ones like three cheese meatloaf, etc. Anyway, it really wouldn't allow you to use your fabulous chef skills.

You could open your own version of a meal prep place though. Like Cassie's Healthy Meals. You could create all the menu items and teach people how to prepare tasty, healthy LAWL or WW friendly meals for their families. I would totally go there to make my meals in advance!

So funny, every time I think of you now, I see you in your chef whites in the Top Chef kitchen.

Hey gang...

Way to go Lettie!!

I was down 2 pounds from my WI on Monday.. I guess considering what I've had to deal with as far as meals this week, that's pretty good, but I'm still pretty disappointed.. I thought TO would have affected me more...

I'll probably do another WI tomorrow with Liz at our home COD.. It will be my last WI until next Friday when I return from a business trip... Guess we'll see if last night's pizza had any adverse affect...

On a side note, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to make my B-day goal considering I'm going to be out of town next week... FRAK!!!

Eh, You never know, Dan! You lost 2 lbs this week and look what you endured - maybe next week you'll be so busy you will lose 4. Either way, you did great and got extremely close!

I'm prety busy today, so sorry - no personals. Congrats to all the losers! Hang in there everyone else! Have a POP weekend all. When exactly will it feel like spring??? We've got another freakin snowstorm coming Sunday night... then again, a snow day would be nice....

Two pounds on TO is still pretty good, Dan. I have noticed that as I am getting smaller, I am not losing as much with TO, as I did in the beginning. Don't sweat it about the birthday goal, you'll be close anyhow and that is great!!! I'm not going to make my Jamaica goal either, and I leave on 04/20. I'll drink a rum drink down there for your birthday....that's a fruit and a starch right? The fact that the scale is moving down, even if it's not as fast as I would like is still a good thing. It could be moving the other way.....

Thanks guys.. I know what you're saying.. But if that 2 pounds by TO and nothing else lost by being POP, it can be discouraging.. Of course, with all of the plateau trouble Liz has been having, she had no sympathy for me..

Wow Dan...how long has it been for you on LAWL...76 pounds is AWESOME loss! Yes, the smaller you get, the harder TO is to get amazing results...awesome on the 2 pounds.

hey everyone. not much to report today. had a great day at work. super crazy busy, but good. i have tomorrow off..thankfully! haven't had a saturday off in so long!
i should go to COD and do another WI, but i just did one yesterday, so not sure if it's really worth it. i'd rather just relax with a rum and diet coke tonight instead and not worry about going to COD.
hmm..what should i do?
