So, AFTER the Purple plan comes...

So AFTER the Purple plan, when I lose weight, what is the NEXT color plan I would be on???

And, what in particular changes in that new plan? less protein is it??

sorry for all my questions...

bizlawchik 03-13-2007 02:35 PM

You would move to gold which is less protein and one less veggie.

LaneBryantChick 03-13-2007 03:30 PM

Thanks.
Wow. it's not even that MUCH of a difference either....

cool...

Nope, and it's surprisingly easy to get used to it. I thought I'd die over the change, but it wasn't bad. Oh, also note that your carb cravers get a little smaller, like you only get one slice of pizza instead of two. THAT part DID make me sad, heh.

LaneBryantChick 03-14-2007 12:26 PM

thanks!!! but you say "protein" so how much less protein, because honestly, I feel the protein amount on the PURPLE plan is quite a lot! no??

I think that is what is making me scared that I am going to be eating too much on PURPLE and then gaining weight, or, not losing as fast as I should be???

can someone clarify?

thanks again!! xoxo

bizlawchik 03-14-2007 01:13 PM

2oz less for beef, fish and chicken. 2 eggs instead of 3. 1 veggie burger instead of 2. (That will be the hardest for me)

LaneBryantChick 03-14-2007 01:18 PM

Thanks for the breakdown...

let me ask you this now... I'm eating FRESH turkey... but I can't figure out, should it be 7 ounces (for one serving of Protein) or is it 4 ounces???

I am SURE it should be the 7 ounces since it is freshly carved turkey and not the deli one...

but can you confirm this for me?? Thanks in advance!! I'm eating in NOW lol...
xoxo

juliemarie 03-14-2007 01:24 PM

The 7 oz is raw weight . . . sounds like you're carving cooked turkey-so that would be 4oz . . .

LaneBryantChick 03-14-2007 01:53 PM

ahhhhhh good catch!!! so I should have had 4 oz... and I had 5 oz...
oh darn...

thanks though!!!! xoxo

bizlawchik 03-14-2007 02:13 PM

Well... I was told that the weight is raw and that if it's cooked you subtract one ounce for cooking. But deli meat - and it is deli meat unless it is carved off the bird right in front of you - is 4 oz. So either way I wouldn't worry about the 5oz too much.

Mama Nicole 03-14-2007 02:20 PM

I thought it was -1oz for cooking as well.......

Hi all,my call name is just how I feel I am a nice person.anyway got a question.New to the board and LAWL.This is my third day 1st day op after 2 day TO.I play soccer 2 times a week plus exercise at least a couple other days a week,Iwas put on gold plan.does this seem like enough to you guys?I did get sucked into la lites also to help with calorie intake, and am I going to sacrifice muscle with this plan?I am also a shift worker. any advice would be greatly appreciated.have a great day:)

bizlawchik 03-14-2007 02:25 PM

You don't say what your starting weight is, your goal weight or your height, so not really sure. But, did you mention all this to your center? You would be moved up a plan for exercise that is consistenly 5hr/week or more and there is a blue plan for shiftworkers since they put n longer hours.
