Hey Kim how are you? It was so neat to meet a fellow "3 fat chicker" in person.

Good Morning Everyone. I got in last night at around 11:00pm. OMG, I had such a wonderful time in NYC!! The amount of clothes that I got.....whew... I spent $2000.00 on clothes alone. Lovin SOHO and the food there...delish! I also got to see 3 of the seasons. Winter, Spring and Fall....it snowed the last day I was there...beautiful, but I couldn't wait to get back to San Diego..I just can't last in the snow.

I just wanted you all to know that I did let myself splurge a little bit and this morning I weighed in at (drum roll please...) 122.5!! I lost a pound. Must have been all the walking.

I have no time to catch up on posts, but I wanted to let you all know that I'm back and doing well.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Yow! I was feeling the same pain yesterday. Way too many "fruits"on Friday night. Gatorade is the antidote. Also, if you are planning in over indulging in the future (I know that doesn't sound possible right now but it may happen!) invest in some charcoal tablets. Work like a charm. Good luck today!

Hi all! Without going into my shoulda-coulda-woulda about my weight and my restarting la weight loss, lets just say that I am determined to hop back on the wagon. I have faithfully read this board and am very inspired by all of the success stories/pointers/and encouragement. I am committing to posting daily and staying POP. I just wanted to re-introduce myself and I hope that everyone has a POP week!

Hi everyone - figured I'd check in; say hi. Won't be online tomorrow until really late in the day. Hope everyone was stronger than me this weekend. I may have to take drastic measures and go back to my COD for weigh ins. Argh...why can't I do this on my own!

Margo - Welcome back and we're glad to have you on board.
Evette - welcome back and congrats on your continued losses. OMG, I can only dream of spending that kind of money on clothes! But, you certainly deserve the splurge. I think it's funny that you saw three seasons of weather. That's New York for you! I'll bet the family/friends you visited were in awe......at least I hope they were.
Paula - wow; good looking young man you've got there. Don't you love seeing them all dressed up like that!
Jason - bet today was one very lonnnnnnnnggggggg day for you. Guess you didn't heed Katie's St. Patty's day warning.
Welcome Mitzi and any other newbies.
BobbySam - yes..this is the best forum!! So far you're doing everything great. Keep it up.
Michael - Disney - what fun! I also see you have just a couple pounds before hitting some new numbers. Stay strong; maybe next year you can compete right along your son!!
Hi newbie Anna - I like your code name "bondgirl" - DH and I just watched Casino Royale...nice calm, relaxing flick...NOT!
Stephanie - that Smoothie recipe sounds yummy. Wish I had some orange flavored yogurt and blueberries right now!

I just came across this thread and oh my, are you guys making me think about LAWL! Is this plan compicated to follow? I saw the 8 week summer plan advertise lately, have any of you tried something like this in the course of your plan? I feel like I have a large appetite, I am not sure I would be able to tame it.

Evette - OMG are totally inspiring me! I went into some of your past posts and your before and after pic is amazing.

Keep up the good work guys, I hope to get my ticker moving SOON! Summer is so close it scares me!

Hi I live close to NYC, the snow was insane in Friday but as you know, a few days before we were in mid 60's, it was some week. You amaze me with the weight loss, I thought it got harder to lose the smaller you get, apparently not!!! With 2K spent on clothes, thats motivation enough to never get bigger again, Im sure! You must be so tiny, are you a size 0?! DO you go to a center? Are they starting your stabilization and maintennance yet? Bravo to you

Welcome Anna! LAWL sounds like a great way to use some of the money from your grandma. Congratulations on already losing 10 pounds!

Michael -- You are too funny:
Quote:
OK, I know what you are all thinking, how the heck does he get that 300lb body hoisted up for the still rings...
lol. Good luck to your son! I'm totally jealous of your trip to Disney. Now I'm going to go spend too much time looking up Disney vacations and dreaming of when our family gets to go. My DS is still a little young, so we're holding off another year or two.

Nicole -- I suck like you do. No green beer no beer of any sort. I may have overdone it on the green tea though. *(nerd alert)*

Evette -- Welcome back! I'm glad you had such a good trip. Congratulations on making it to your goal and then some!!! I hope to reward myself with a new wardrobe one day too.

Beachbabe -- I don't think the program is too complicated...it does involve measuring and tracking and journaling though. There's a post all about the program, that Cassi wrote, if you scroll back a few pages.

BobbySam -- Welcome to you too! You don't have to feel embarrassed about your starting weight, nobody here is going to gasp when they see it. Even if they are smaller now, I'm sure many have been where you are. This is the best forum.

Paula -- Your DS does look very handsome! Good for you for being POP, I'd probably be crying in my potato chips by now if I'd seen DS off to the prom...lol.

Missmitzi - Another heartfelt WELCOME for you!

Anyway.. This is a new week and I'll be busy as usual

Hope it's all POP for you!

Happy Monday all! Had an OP weekend. Looking forward to a great week.

Katie – Hope the b-day party was fun. Love your Irish blessing. I know I’ve shared this before, but for the newbies, here’s my favorite:

“May those who love us, love us. And for those that do not love us, may God turn their ankles so that we know them by their limp.”

Michael – The TO losses stay off for the most part. You should just try to eat lighter choices (fish or chicken over red meat, light bread instead of a bagel, etc.) for a few days afterwards. Generally if I lose 4lbs, maybe ½ - 1 comes back. But then it’s gone again after eating OP for a few days. And good luck to DS in the gym meet. What level is he? I’m taking it he competes USAG. My 14 yo DD competes too. Well, she did. But she took 9 months off and just started back. She competed level 7 last but got injured at the beginning of the season and only competed one meet and then states so depending on her learning curve she’ll either repeat 7 or go 8 next year. My 3 yo DS is in the pre-school class too. By the way, if he asks to go to gym camp, IGC was so worth the money! Enjoy Disney!

Wendy – Holy crap you’re melting away!

Dori - Sorry about your rough weekend. Hope you enjoyed it though. Sometimes it’s worth it to go off plan when you have a lot of fun. Now drink that lemon water!

Erika – Hope your St. Patty’s day was fun w/DB!

Anna, BobbySam and Mitzi – Welcome! Just hang around and post your questions and we can all help you out. You have definitely come to the right place for support!

Stephanie – Glad you liked it. I’m making a chicken fajita salad later in the week.

Vic – If it makes you feel better, we’re only expecting a high of 76 today!

Paula – Prom in March??? Wow. He is handsome though.

Michelle – You get through the hunger by not thinking about it! Seriously, are you sipping your TO juice throughout the day? Are you spacing out your food at even intervals? Also, cutting your two bars up into pieces and having one piece every hour will help you get through it a little easier. And hot tea. I like the flavored teas with a packet of splenda. The warm liquid helps fill your tummy.

Nicole – All of the cereal talk got to ya, huh? Oh well, just move one, right?

Evette – OMG! Not only did you survive your vacation, but you dropped a pound? You are just too amazing! Love the new avatar.

Margo – Welcome back!

2babeachbabe – The answer to your question of how difficult is this to follow lies within you. Are you motivated? Are you truly ready to make this a lifestyle change? The program is stricter than WW, but you do get to eat your own food. Here is a link to a post I wrote about the program. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104658&highlight=program+explanat ion After reading it, let us know if you have any more questions.

Everyone else, good morning!

Good Morning Everyone. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did manage to have some green beer this weekend, but limited myself to 2 and I did save starches for that, so I did pretty good. Hope you all have a POP day!

Okay, remind me never to do TO again...especially right before a weekend. I've already gained a pound back. :-( Things I didn't plan on cropped up this weekend, and I ended up having to eat out unexpectedly TWICE this weekend. I tried to be good, but I'm sure the extra sodium did me in. And, I didn't even drink this weekend, so I don't even have that to blame! I decided to work at home today, so at least I won't have WI to contend with. I guess I could go to the COD near home, but I've never been there, and I'm not sure how good it is. I know it's owned by the same franchise as the COD I normally go to, so maybe it's not too bad.

Cassi - Yeah, I'm starting to get embarrassed when I see someone I haven't seen in a while. One guy at work who didn't know me before my second pregnancy told me I looked like a totally different person. And then a lady from our Ashburn, VA center who hadn't seen me since before Christmas just recently came into town, and she didn't recognize me when I first came up to tell her hello. I guess I really did look terrible before the WL. :-(

Hope everyone else had an awesome POP day!!!
