Thanks Erika-now that it's been pointed out it will drive me nuts for the rest of the month -apparently only a moderator can change the title of a thread. Nicole learned that lesson with sclae-although that spelling has now definately caught on!
Real quick check in....a friend just called and has an extra tix for the Billy Joel concert that is in town tonight (free for me, except I'll buy her a drink and pay for parking!!). Weather is awful here, but I'm going. That man puts on a good show.
OHHHHH, JONI, I am soooo jealous!!!! Seeing Billy Joel in concert is on my "before I die, I will......" list. I love him. I grew up listening to his music.......and I just adore him. I think he is kind of a weirdo, but man, he can play and sing. You are so lucky......and that is a great concert to score for free.......I was going to go see him here in St. Louis, but didn't want to spring for the tickets........they are quite pricey.
Ok, now that I am over it (NOT), how is everyone today? I am very busy. I am trying to stop letting PBS raise my children, so we have had a very long day. I have to take 4 yo. DS to the doc tonight for a check up.....and then we have 9 yo. DD's book fair at her school.......so it will be a busy evening. And..........my house is trashed......and I still need to shower and stuff. Oh well..........what can you do. I have been POP so far today, so that is good. My sclae only went up 0.2 on the day afer TO, so I am pleased. Especially since I made some salty meatloaf last night.
K, have to try to find some new and exciting distractions for the twin house wreckers
XOXO
I did write over in the wrong thread. Just popping in to say hi. I'm sick right not, and have finals next week. I will read, but not be able to post much. I am thinking of you though!!
Just back form COD and I'm down 13 lbs! So happy about that and happy that it only took two and a half weeks. I know it will slow down but I'm enjoying the fast results! I need to add exercise but it is so hard to find the time with three very yourng children and rainy weather. Hope everyone is having a POP day!
Awww....you guys started a different one before I could fix this one! I;ll go ahead and close this one out...it should fall back to the second page here in a couple days and you won't have to look at it any more.
Dan--Canyon (just south of Amarillo). No offense taken--I grew up in Texas and we aren't wild about Oklahomans so we say the only reason Texas doesn't fall into the Gulf of Mexico is because Oklahoma sucks. LOL.
Kim--tell'em to get direct deposit and leave you the **** alone!
Joni- Have a super time at the concert, I am jealous!
Jason- I hope you are feeling better and enjoying your movie day.
Kristen- I hope your your sake and baby Jamie's sake that flu doesn't last like that for that long.
Katie- On your post I read, may your bums get a little.... DH has been out of town all week, guess you know where my mind is.
Kim- That 10 lbs. will drop off in no time. Lemon water, lemon water.
Dan- Glad you made it back home safe. 40 mph winds are just a breeze up here in Montana. We can go for days with 60-70 mph winds. Enough to drive you crazy after a while.
Stephanie- Great job on the 13 lbs. You are doing awesome!
Today's WI netted me a 1.8 lb loss from Monday. I'm jazzed! I'm off for the next 4 days and was going to paint the entryway, dining room and hallway, but with the cold snowy weather, I am just not in the mood for it yet, so I will putter around the house and catch up on my craft stuff and work on some projects for my beading class. I added a pic of what I am doing for Easter if you are intersted.
