Dan - yeah, that was pretty much my reaction too. The thing is, the village is so small that there would be no TV ads, they would just go around door to door with the picture as part of their campaign, and all of the "kool-aid drinkers" here would just get in line. It's sad. My first reaction as a resident (which I am not) would be - "yeah, you live in the village, you knew it was a boil water advisory, why didn't you send your kid to school with a bottle of water?" but then, that's why working in politics is so hard on me - I don't expect my government to take care of every aspect of my life for me. The thing that really kills me is that there was a jug of water in each classroom - a fact that I'm sure will not be relayed. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good scandal!

Kim......my lower tummy is the same way. It's like an empty Walmart bag. LOL. I breastfed 5 kids......so I know what you are talking about there too. I can deal with that better than the hangy belly syndrome
Hey girls.........do you think LAWL would trade me my 20 some remaining WL weeks for online access? I just really don't get much out of going to my COD, and my losses aren't affected at all when I go in. I am just thinking I would get a lot more use out of the investment I made with their online tools than I do going to the COD that I rarely go to. What do you think?

Kim (the original).....that teacher is soooo out of line. I would have a real hard time with that kind of crap as well. I keep telling DH that I will never beable to get a job out of the house cuz I just can't keep my mouth shut. If I see something going on that I know in my heart is wrong........it just gets me nuts.......and after being home for so many years....I'm afraid I am just out of practice with being quiet when it is appropriate. Oh.........my kids are going nuts.......I really have to run..........hope your day gets better
XOXO

Evette -- Only in my dreams would I ever be at 123 or 118 again! My DH would probably have to quit his job because he'd think he'd need to fight men off full time. I'm really glad you've done so well and are so close to goal. Keep going, you still might make it by the time you take your trip!
Lori -- Glad the party went well and most of the temptations were neutralized.
I'm home today, DS is sick with a cold and a bit of an ear infection. He's in good spirits, but he's a mucous making machine, so he can't be at daycare today.
Katie - I hope you figure out what you're doing today and that your DD feels much better soon.
Dan/Liz -- Yeah, I hear you on the same old thing... I have chicken breasts in the fridge and just can't bring myself to cook them until I come up with some way to make them turn into something other than chicken...lol. If only they could be bacon... sigh.
Kim2 -- I'm so interested in hearing about your consultation for the tummy tuck. Maybe that's something I could treat myself to as well. I've only had one c-section, but trust me, I need it.
Nicole -- Why not? If you're not going to the COD anyway then they might be open to switching you over. I'm with you and Kim on the tummy thing, deflated innertube comes to mind for me.
Kim - You lost 4lbs in a week? Yes! Way to go superwoman!!
TOM has arrived here, so I'm hoping he's partially responsible for my crappy results last week, although popcorn and starches had something to do with it. I'm going to WI again tomorrow, so hoping for some good news then.

Morning All
Jaimie is mended but Mommy got it on Friday. I've never had such a rough go with a bug since I got typhoid in Cancun in 2000! But of course the sclae was good to me as I was down a pound over the weekend.
Kim#2.. I need a copy of your PM to Nicole after your consult.. you and I are living nearly the same journey on the scale etc. I'm getting down and down but with the loss on the scale everything is heading south on my body. What gravity?? DH says I need to decide for certain if we are done at 2 kids before I go and hike it all back up again! With my two at their age right now, one getting ready to potty train and us almost out of diapers I can hardly see gaining weight, being up all hours of the night and dealing with breast feeding again.. that one is going to have to take some thought! My YDD was our surprise baby after a night involving wine.. now that I'm not drinking on this plan I would be fully aware of all my actions LOL!
So a crazy week ahead to catch up on last as we were so out of sorts with the sick girl of mine. Nicole you can't go to Wisconsin unless you take me.. I'll keep you out of the cookies.
Kimphin I am also coming to hang out for the Irish Fest.. how far from my house to yours?? Don't worry about the TO till next Mon/Tues... I'm joining the 6 week challenge late too and just do a Slimfat on Tues/Thurs/Sat and then your TO next week.. you'll be on par with me
Dan, tell Liz when I did WW a few years ago I made up the meal plans for each week, bought, measured and cooked all the food and every time we went to weigh in my DH would be down about 6-8 pounds and I would stay the same, gain or if I was really lucky lose 0.4. My DH is lucky to be alive.. at some point the scale does start moving again though it is a true test of sanity while you wait! Hang in there Liz
Angie, it's a new week you can do it.. I find I'm craving popcorn more than anything these days too! Except of course for my coffee which I gave up for Lent.. ahh only another month to go before I can run to my local Starbucks.
Cassi you do have a busy week ahead! Don't get to run down.
Hello to Kims, Wendys, dear Joni, Nance, Lea Ann, Lori great to see you, Roosters of all kinds, PEARL.. we miss you, Ulanda, Barb..keep on rockin, SHEA, Sara and all the Canucks and to everyone else who's names are escaping my flu exhausted mind!

Hi all! I, too, have had 3 C-sections. My tummy is so nasty. I call it the "Jello Belly Syndrome". Would love to have a TT. Maybe after I win the lottery, huh? I am just going to work a few hours, and DD is going to sleep on a mat behind my desk.

Kristen,
Liz and I have contemplated doing the whole weekly planned, weighed menus, but when it comes right down to it, chicken is chicken and turkey is turkey... Sometimes you just want a big plate of alfredo... (minus the pasta, with a big loaf of crusty bread... )

I'll keep you guys informed Kristen. Gravity sucks in my opinion! And youth is wasted on the young! They dont appreciate their tight bodies, they can sure give it to me! LOL

Dan just alfredo sauce, no butter or parm, made with shiritaki noodles. and of course the bread can only be a 4"WW pita...........
wow that really took the magic out of that meal!
