Hi aleka, my beau has spots on his tummy also. its like my psorasis red and dry... i thought he was alergic to something but it comes and goes. so let me know what the vet says. its not bothering him or anything it seems. kinda itches but hes not itching it. i did put some vasline on it and seem to help and some proxide to. that helped some to.. i hope it gets better for lacee. got to take care of these babies for sure. oh i am so glad your walking steady and all. i need to get another walk in. have a good evening. LaDean, the Vet gave me Prednisone for Lacee's bumps. I have to give her 1/2 of a tablet for 3 days. He told me that if she gets them again to bring her right in so that he can see what they look like. Of course by the time we got to the Vets office, her bumps had disappeared. :rolleyes: I think the antihistamine meds she has to take everyday made them go away. He has no idea what could have caused them. I did get some shampoo from the Vet's office. Hopefully this will clear up. She doesn't have red and dry skin, it's just a lot of dandruff. The Omega 3 oils she is taking is helping a lot.

HI, thanks so much. beau's is a big spot and like not a bump.. i gave my tuffy that presidone and it made him so weird. i hope it does not lacee. i took presidone once and never again. but acts differently on us and all i know. he was older to and all. good luck hope they go away.. i just got back from daily walk beau and i. wore our jackets not to cold but nippy.ha sun is coming out. oh he loves his walks. the leaves in areas we walk are alot so he loves to dig out in them. so cute. well have a good day all. Ah, the joys of menopause. Hot flashes have been waking me up about 3 every morning. It is a complicated balance of temperature in my house. I am keeping it very cool in order to avoid triggering them. The thing is, it is really cold here this week and I haven't had so much of a problem, but I know they are lurking.

ledom, we're doing fine. We didn't get the tornadoes down our way. They were well north of us. The storm had petered out a bit as it was nearing us. We were supposed to get some thunder storms this morning, but all we got were torrential downpours. I was afraid we wouldn't get our walk in this morning, but the storm came through later than expected. Did you get a dusting of snow?

I know all too well the joys of menopause. I have the ceiling fan on all night. I am very fortunate that my hot flashes aren't that bad.

I'm still walking, we're going into our 8th week. I do feel a lot better. I'm not dieting though. Just can't do it anymore.

Hi Aleka,,, so good this board got back up. i went in and it had gone by. ha ha so thought maybe someone would come in and get it up again. so glad you did. glad your walking and your doing good. i am walking daily to. then i got something from curves from avon and free 2 weeks at curves. so going to do this as its free and i need it. then i intend to go to our lodge gym and do my exercise. so getting with it. but like you so tired of dieting. i did go on atkins again for while. but going to lose jsut little more and that is it. just going to hold a wt. tired to. ha have a good day LaDean Yes hope no one is getting storms.

ledom, so glad you're alright. I can just imagine how scared that person was when the tornado missed their house by mere feet. Yes, tornado season is scary. I think about it all the time down here. In the summer, whenever there is a thunder storm approaching, I turn on the weather channel to see if there are any alerts going across the bottom of the screen. Do you have a weather radio? We're thinking of getting one because we have no warning system in case a tornado was heading our way.

Aleka, Hi i am going to try and get to curves this week. have not yet. may go down sometime today. have never been inside but heard allot of good about it. Yes i loss my 33 lbs on atkins and reached goal. then i went off it. i am not really a meat eater and just could not face it again. ha but finally just last week i decided have kept this wt off for over 2 years now. so that must be my plan. ha ha so back to it with same friend that was on it with me before. she had moved so were online doing it. helps me alot.. i am losing again on it. last week was not good kept carbs to high. but starting today more strick with it again. it just seems to make the scales go down and i was doing others and it was not working... oh well got to get with my ex i know more . good luck to all this week. Hi gals, doing great here. i hope everyone is just busy and not in. i popped in cause never wanted our board to roll over. was getting close to the end. ha ha i am exercising and doing good on plan. scales are slowly moving down. just so that direction makes me happy.. still need to get carbs lower. trying.. nice summer weather for now. so is nice to be out and about.. hope all is ok with all of you.
