3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community - Twas the night before Christmas...

Twas the night before Christmas
When all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
not even the 'puter mouse

DH in his PJs and I, a smaller size
had just written our menus when we realized
All chicken and veggies, no tilapia on here!
It looks like we'd better get our thoughts in gear!

So out comes the erasers
our menus to redo
We must have variety
Our COD says it's true!

We pulled out the cookbook
through the recipes we flew
We added first one
then another or two.

When suddenly it hit us!
The dreaded hunger pain!
We knew we must eat now
If not, we might gain!

Instead of a meal
it was time for a lite
Did we want caramel? Lemon?
Or our last Mint Delight?

We each had our lite bar
A treat we admit
The first time we had one
it sure was a hit!

Finally to bed
We decided to go
We looked out the window
but alas, there's no snow!

Dreams of cakes and cookies
they danced in our heads
But we ran to the kitchen
for lemon water instead!

Who are we kidding?
For Christmas we'll cheat!
We'll be careful how much,
but our favorites, we'll eat!

The New Year is coming
our goals we'll redo
We'll take a short break
to refresh and renew.

But when the ball drops
and the new year is here
All the cheating will stop
we'll get our butts in gear!

On the treadmill,on the ab lounger
our sweat it will flow!
Exercise is a pain
but our efforts will show!

Off one pound,
off two,
maybe five
and then ten!
When we reach our small goal
we'll start all over again!

We'll plan every menu
our water we'll drink
We'll unlearn the bad stuff
old ways we'll rethink!

It's healthy we'll choose
it's healthy we'll eat!
We'll continue to lose,
we'll try NOT to cheat!

One day at at time
That's how we'll take it
And with help from our friends
we know we will make it!

The moral of this story
isn't sad but it's true
If you want to lose weight
you do what you have to do!

So throw out all the bad
It's in with the new
drink all of your water
for it rehydrates you!

Eat all your portions
to lose you must eat!
Make all healthy choices
and plan all your cheats!

Lemon water will flush
all the impurities out
If you haven't tried it, ask Cassi
she'll wipe away any doubt!

Alas we must go
for it's Santa we hear,
the fat man himself
with all his reindeer!

Hey Santa, we've got a suggestion to make
We hope you will listen,
our advice you will take!

Your cholesterol's too high
and your blood pressure too!
But don't worry dear Santa,
have we got a plan for you!

It starts Christmas red
then to blue, maybe gold
And our friends online
will share all they've been told!

We'll give you our cookbook
A new start you'll make
We believe you are worth it
if this mission you'll take!

So join us dear Santa
it appears you are gaining
lots of pounds, lots of inches
it's time for re-training!

He took that new cookbook
as he patted his middle
"When I come back next year
I'll be fit at a fiddle!"

And we heard him exclaim
as he flew out of sight...
"I know I can do this,
I'll try with all of my might!"

We went back to bed
with no dreams to fear
Fit as a fiddle we'll ALL be
on Christmas next year!!!
