MidWeek checkin - 9/6
Hi Guys!
Well, I started NutriSystem on Monday. So far it is going pretty well. I have stayed on track, NO deviaitions! So that is a very good thing. I suppose when you pay this much for food it makes it harder to cheat! :dizzy: The food has been okay. Some stuff is good, some is okay and 2 items I have had to throw away. I just couldn't even gag them down. :p I think Lean Cuisine or WW frozen entrees are tastier, but we will see how this continues to go. I very much like their booklet for keeping track. It tells me exactly what to eat, very little guess work involved. Breakfast is an entree, fruit serving and a dairy or protien serving. Serving items and sizes are listed in the back of the same book you carry with you. It is about the size of a checkbook register, so very easy to keep with me at all times. It calls for you eating 3 meals, 1 snack and 1 dessert. Talks about timing - very similar to JC. It is just easier for me to nuke an entree as I am zooming to baseball or dance rather than trying to fix a low calorie meal in between work and activities. So that is my progress so far with NS. Sounds like your doing well Sharon, I would love to try Nutrisystem. I bet you will be very successful with it.
My losing my 9 lbs. and exercising has brought my cholesterol down to 188 and my Dr. is thrilled!! So that is my encouragement to keep going. Phyllis |

I didn't loose anything this past week which is ok cause I was out of town with friends...went to the Dentist yesterday and had a root canal! Much pain! Oh well...thats life! Good luck Sharon with NS. Sound really do-able with your schedule...don't know how you can keep up! |
