Well only 6 wks. before my trip so I really have to buckle down now. I still am hoping to lose at least 10 lbs more before Sept. 14 and I don't think that is unreasonable as long as we don't start eating out every other night I should make it.

Glad your home for a few weeks Sharon missed you and also glad to see Vicky back with us. Welcome back....

This HOT week is going by pretty fast and I am sure all of you in the midwest and eastern states hope the warm front goes through quickly, your temps are terrible....stay inside. Our high is about 92 and that is plenty hot enough.

Stay motivated ladies, I know I'm not giving up this time around.:carrot:

I am with you in not giving up this time. I really am determined, even if I tend to get off kilter! :dizzy: Stick to your guns for the next 6 weeks. There will be plenty of eating out while on vacation anyhow! :hug:

Heat? What heat? It was only 80 today and it's in the 70s right now. I have all the windows open and it's lovely.

Phyllis, you can do it! One suggestion for eating out is to look up the restaurant ahead of time and see if they have their menu on a Web site. Then you can decide in advance what you want to eat and just stick to that.

I went to Chili's last night and had a burger. When I logged it, it came to 800 calories! Then I subtracted the bun since I don't eat those -- that took away 460 calories! So dinner ended up being 340 calories which is perfectly reasonable plus 10 calories for my ketchup.
