Tip #18 - Drink lots of water

No, it won't fill you up, but it can help you burn calories faster. A study from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany found that drinking 500 milliliters of warm water caused people's metabolic rates to increase by 30%. The study suggested that drinking 2 liters of water a day could cause you to burn an additional 100 calories.



I don't agree that water does not fill you up -- when I drink this 2 liter pitcher, it makes my stomach full.

Water fills me up too.....If I would remember to drink a glass BEFORE each meal I know I wouldn't eat as much.
