Husband's Surgery
 

Hi all! My DH is having hernia surgery Thursday morning. He's not the least bit nervous but I am a little. Plus I know I'm going to have a hard time getting him to follow doctor's orders and take it easy -- he can't sit still for 5 minutes. I've already threatened to duct tape him to the couch!!

Sorry to hear about the hernia surgery. I hope all goes well and if you decide to duct tape him to the couch, I guarantee you that he will not be :hyper:

Looks like you will have to do it all for a few days! Especially if you duct tape him to the couch!

Good luck with your dh surgery. I understand about his not sitting still, I have one of those too. I think the duct tape is a great idea.

Allie, I don't know if it's lap or open repair? He didn't say. You know how men are about details. He promises to be good -- but I think he kind of likes the duct tape idea :D

We will definately put you guys in our thoughts and prayers and please let us know how he is doing after the surgery!

How did the surgery go? Maybe you posted somewhere else...I missed it. I am sure it went well......now when do you start using the duct tape on him????

Hi everyone! John's surgery went well yesterday and he's doing fine. He's a little sore but otherwise OK. I haven't had to duct tape him down yet.

Susan-Glad the surgery went well. Hope he's not a big baby when he's not feeling well. I know mine would be driving me out of my mind. Actually, he does that now. Anyway, I like the duct tape, but suggest you also use it on his mouth. Then you don't have to hear him complain!
