Remember me?

Oh boy have I missed everyone!!! Here's what's happenin'!
A week after we got back from Mexico my Grandpa had a major stroke. I spent long days and late nights there until he passed away the following Tuesday, the funeral was on that Friday.
Then all my energy was focused on adopting a Percheron yearling off the feed lot so she didn't go to slaughter - we went Sunday and picked her up form Yakima, WA and sh is settling in nicely. She is in quarrantine for 30 days so she doesn't get any of my other horses sick if she has something she can pass along. So far so good. Oh, her name is Tango.
My sister has been here from Alaska and left yesterday to meet her hubby in Arizona - he is a surveyer for thte bureau of land management and there is a job in Kingman to do so they decided to move there for a few months - TOUGH decision! NOT! Alaska or Arizona in March?! Ummmm!
Amid all this I found out earlier this week I am pregnant! Holy crap! #7!!! :dizzy: Now that the shock has almost worn off I am starting to get excited about it! I am due the beginning of Nov so my baby now will be 2.
I have gained 7 lbs since Mexico and trying not to let it piss me off and just get focused again and start exercising but there is still lots to do at the barn to get it ready for Tango.
It's snowing today! The first "real" snow all year. So far we have 6-8 inches and it's still snowing. I LOVE IT!!! Sorry Susan ;) School was a 2 hr late start but my daughter decided to stay home and play in it instead. :D I wonder if I'll still love it tonight when I'm cleaning up floors and doing laundry?! Oh well! It's fun and we don't get it very often.
Whew! I'll quit now! Did I mention I've missed everyone? ;) :D

Hi Donna

Good to have you back! Congrats on the baby! :cheer: :cheer::cheer::cheer: That's wonderful news! It's important to eat healthy and keep exercising during pregnancy. You're already one step ahead since you're already doing the lifestyle. Don't forget to eat more. This is not a time to be losing weight! There's still plenty of time after the baby is born. And if you breastfeed as well, the weight will come off more rapidly. So enjoy your pregnancy and treat yourself nicely. I had started losing weight as well before I got pregnancy with my second child. Had to put it aside for a while. But I got back to it after. Having a baby to feed well during pregnancy and breastfeeding is quite a motivator for eating well.

Donna, I am SOOOOO happy for you! Congratulations! That's great!

And I'm glad you are back -- I missed you. We had snow here in Denver yesterday and I still hate it! I want go to with your sister to Arizona. Although Kingman wouldn't be my choice of location in Arizona. She will be nice and toasty in a few months. She'll be close to Needles, CA where Snoopy's brother Spike lives in the desert. I could use some summer heat right now.

Keep us posted. You are going to have your hands full with 7 kids at their ages!!!

Seven!!!! Oh my god SEVEN!!! How wonderful is that and I agree you must have had a GREAT time in Mexico!;) Congrats to you and your dh.

My daughter is still nursing her baby (11 mths old) and she has regained her shape really well....she looks great. So you know the routine by now, eat well, do some exercise (like chase the other babies around) and you should bounce back quickly.

I use to own an American Saddle Horse, I just love horses....good for you and your dh for saving this one. Let me know how she works out for you. You two are good people.
