Default I admit it!

Well, this was hard, but I admit it a few days later. When I weighted in last Sunday, I had gained 4 pounds. It's all out in the open now! Hopefully, on this Sunday's weight in, I will at least have maintained my weight!

It's so hard to lose weight, yet so easy to gain it back! My weight has always been a real struggle! But I'm not ready to give up! I did not lose 60 pounds to gain it all back now! Now, that I know what it feels like being thinner with no everyday backpains, sickness, etc.. and be so close to my final goal, I'm not giving up! That is just one more bump in the road! I am now back on my wagon and ready to do better!

I'm with you. The physical rewards are so great that the cute clothes are just the icing on the no-calorie cake!

I'm actually not going near my scale until I feel safe... I may have gained with my recent unemployment and cookie escapade but I have been beating myself up so much lately that I'm just not going to add one more negative thing! Instead, we are having a healthy dinner if I have to go to the deli to get it!

Hi Francine...
What is the deal with the scale...how can I gain 2 lbs in one day and it takes me a week of good eating AND working out to lose 1 lb...Gosh I hate that!!!
Jump back on the bandwagon..you are so close to your goal my Candadian Friend..Are you doing the Pedometer challenge..the few days that I did it, I seemed a little more motivated.
My hometown is Cornwall Ontario...just down the road from you and my dh's family is all is Ottawa..we now live in Florida.

Girls I must admit to you, I was obsess with that scale until over a week ago, my scale and I had a fight, I put away my 3 scales and started enjoying the lifestyle again, I bought a DVD Tae-Boe wich I love and must say that it feels so good not to think about that scale again,, I am even thinking the next time I weigh in, I will ask a friend so I don't see how much I weigh...

Ladies, just keep in mind that your life and who are you are are not defined by a number on a scale.

And why is there an ad for Chocolate Chex Mix in Turtle and Peanut Butter on the right hand side as I type this??? That helps! (NOT!)

What you weigh is not as important as 1) Did I stick to the eating plan; 2) did I drink my water and 3) did I do my 8MM or some form of exercise.

Plus, no matter what, we love you anyway!

Thank you everyone for the support. Lou, I did the pedometer challenge and did like it until the clip broke. It made me walk in circles at 10pm at night to get my 10K done. I made my husband laugh! He kept telling me go quicker, quicker. I may get another one later. Will see.

Pedometers were on sale at my Walgreen's for $3.99 right by the register... I did it, too! I stepped on my scale fully clothed and weighed 148. I'm not changing my ticker because I'm blaming it on my clothes... I'm headed to the gym today after a 2-week hiatus! Almost every activity we have planned for the weekend is alcohol related. We have TWO beer tastings for charity... I am going to sample, not chug!
