for Dr. House? So far, no one has any ideas about the swelling/pain in Donald/s left arm/leg. Hopefully, we'll find out more tomorrow.

OH I love that show!!! Glad to hear they didnt' find anything major but not so happy to hear they dont' know whats causing it! Hopefully you will hear something soon!

Is the swelling an inflammation or edema? I can't tell you how many times I have wished for a real life Dr. House myself, Lynn - I am told there was a meeting of about a dozen neurologists to discuss what might be wrong with me and none of them could come up with anything that "fit" - no differential diagnsis for me either.

I sure hope you notice an improvement in his condition soon - wasn't he supposed to have company yesterday? The poor thing - he must be so disappointed!

I don't really know. It is VERY swollen - tight - and hot. They are treating it as fluid build-up. Restricting his liquid intake and keeping it raised & intravenous lasix.

However, the fact that they called in a vascular surgeon seems to me like they might suspect a blood clot somewhere.
