3 hour diet....hot chocolate...

Can drinks count as your 100 calorie snack? Thanks!

Yes, I think so as long as under 100 cal. I am sure one of the wise women here will know but I don't see why not if it fills you up.

I am just not sure if it makes my metabolism kick in or not, I haven' read the book, maybe it has to be something solid?

I think as long as you get the right number of calories, it is fine. The downfall is that liquids don't fill you up, and you might be hungrier than you would if you had something with protien or fiber. Just listen to your body. It knows what it needs.

I think if you are jonesing for it you can have it. That said - I would not personally choose to make that a regular snack. The reason being that with that much refined sugar, depending on who you are, you may experience a blood sugar drop - more like a plummet - before 3 hours are up. I know that would happen to me. This is the same reason I will not allow myself to have refined sugar as a snack, especially by itself.

But again - if hot chocolate is just calling your name and you would like to shut it up - try it and see how you feel...

I love hot chocolate. But I buy the carb control one that's only 45 calories or something like that and not the stuff with sugar.

Weight Watchers used to make a great hot chocolate - I don't know if they still do.
