Hello everyone!
I have been lost, but i have returned.:)
When i had some time, i came to see the board, wich was not often. Thanks for Laurie. she reminded me, that i still have a place to come. Let's see what happened with me since! I work, trough an agency i got this administratial job. I would really like to stay with the company, but will see, i need to go to a very intense training, and i need to have 2 exams a week. If im not doing over 80% im out. Will see. Im not young anymore, and there is so many thing in my mind right now. It's a one month training. Will see! My older son will go to Korea to teach english end of this month. Neather to say that im very worried! He never been away from me. ever! But I know, that he needs to grow up, so im trying to be strong for his sake! My little one still having problems in school (not wanting to study) My maritial status did not changed , im still separated. I hope that i will be able to pass the exams at work, and i can keep my job, which would be very helpul. I would not haveto relly on my ex to pay the rent to the apartment. Oh! I got a good news, my panic attacks lessened. I was quite good on the holidays i did not gained just a couple of lb's. But i have already got them off. Unfortunately i did not follow cruise book. I just eat less. I hope eventualy i will have some motivation to move also. I little bit of exercise would be good, if i can push myself. ha ha ha. One of the days i was reading the board, It sceard me. Dany put up something about her trainer sister, who died in obeasity. And she was only 350 or 315. Now that sceard me to death. I did not come to the board until now because of that. But i still not exercise. who understand this? I hope that everyone is feeling allright, and getting better, and healthier. Sorry for my spelling mistakes. Julianna |
Just keep trying Julianna. NEVER give up! So glad that you posted and said hi. I will cross my fingers that all works out for you with the new job. That could be just the boost you need! :D
As far as exercise, just add a few steps wherever you can. Park the car further away from the entrance to work. Use the stairs instead of the elevator. If you have a five minute break, get up and walk up and down the hallway. Slowly build upon that ans eventually you will be ready to committ to a more intense exercise. But something is better than nothing and it all adds up!!! Glad to see you are down 20 lbs. That is a HUGE accomplishment!!! Keep that scale moving in the downward motion. :goodscale And keep reading and posting here! We are all in this together and group support REALLY helps! TTFN- Sharon |

Hi Juliann - I am new - but I have to tell you - I know about panic/anxiety attacks. I am plagued with them too and they are just about the freakiest scariest things I have EVER experienced. The ONE thing that helps me - the ONLY thing so far - is Tai Chi... Anyone and everyone can do Tai Chi - try getting hooked up with a class...
Hugs to you - don't give up on yourself - you ARE worht the effort! Stay strong and stick around! We are really on a roll here! Strap your helmet on and feel the G's, Baby! |
Hang in there with the testing for work. Adult education is completely different from the tests we took in school- you'll see! The tests will be much easier. They want you to succeed and will help you prepare for every test! I've got my fingers crossed for you!

Hi Julianna!!!
I am glad you stopped by! I always wondered what happened to you. Will you be joining us again? |
Good morning!
Thanks for the encouragement. I will try to come back to the board, but right now im not following JC plan. I have missed you girls also. I always felt home in here. I got some video tapes with tai chi, i will try to learn from them. Thanks for the advice. I have been sick the lost couple of days, so i lost a couple of lb's, i know it's only for a couple of days but it's good to look at the scale.;) Julianna |
Julianna - its so good to have you back with us. I was out for a couple of months myself and was not following JC because of chemotherapy. I am still, slowly but surely:snail:, getting back to plan - it's hard work!!! Come back even if you are not following JC plan completely - trust me - it will be good for you - you need us and we need you:grouphug:
I hope you are feeling better after nasty stomach bug - consider it a jump start on more weight loss. Congratulations on the weight you have already lost - that's awesome:carrot: I, too, have struggled with panic attacks since my early 20's. They are not fun - but I have learned some techniques to deal with them. Take deep breaths in through the nostrils and out through the mouth - breath in and hold for 3 seconds while focusing on your breathing - then exhale slowly pushing all that negative energy out of your body. Then, breath in cleansing breath, filling your body with positive energy (God is my positive energy) and hold filling every cavity with good things - then exhale again. Daisy's Tai Chi is another good way to get rid of all that negative energy;) You can do it:hug: I hope you get to keep your job and will be praying for you through this tough time with your son going to Korea and your separation. Take care of yourself and we will talk to you soon:) |
