  • Well my butt still hurts from that cycling class, a class my big ole butt won't be doing anymore!! This is almost right on up there with hurting like hemrroids or something! LOL!

    Anywho, I am picking my sore butt up and hitting the gym again, note I said gym NOT cycling class!

    So how is everyone doing? I think its going to be a chilly rainy day and Steven is already driving me crazy this morning. He is moving as slow as a slug getting ready for school. UGH!

    Has anyone tried any new recipes lately? Since we know Dr. Daisy likes analzing recipes, I think I may post a few for her to check out.

    Well got to get some coffee in this tired sore body!!

    I have been coming here for about a week just reading, gathering information and laughing at you guys. You all have some very interesting information here. Thanks for the Jorge Cruise food list. It has really helped me to not drag the book around until I can get the planning under control. Sorry that your cycling class ended up in rear end collision (pain). Better luck with the gym.

    So far today is going fine - of course it is only 8 in the morning, LOL... much too soon to tell. I have to run to the vet's today to pick up more thyroid meds for Sam - our bernese mountain dog mix... Other than that - SSDD. Work - yutz around - work some more... watch Toy Story with ds for the 8 millionth time...

  • You said it Laurie TIRED!!! I am DRAGGing!!

    My son was up half the night coughing...I am planning to take him to the Dr. today. I think he may be developing asthma. I have asthma so it is possible that he has inherated from me. cant spell and don't even want to try
    I have such a tired headache I will take a nap sometime today hopefully
    didn't go to work will call the dr when they open at 9 and take the kidsto school...just running on empty...will WI after the kids are gone...
  • I'm up and at'em' nice and early today. Drove kids to school, made breakfast for DH and self, got him up and washed and dressed.... we are doing really good today.

    I was a little disappointed when I weighed today (yes, I weigh myself everyday. I always have and probably always will.....) I was up 1 lb from yesterday. I ate well and exercised yesterday. I tried to push water, but maybe not enough???? I will try harder today! No exercise scheduled today. I will drive DH to work, go in to the office myself for a few hours, then back to pick him up. I'd like to take Bobby for new shoes and sneakers this afternoon ( his feet grew again ) and maybe a haircut. Then Michelle has dance tonight, Bobby has basketball practice. I feel like all I ever do any more is drive.......

  • I am going to exercise today....will probably be like Laurie tomorrow....SORE! Haven't been in almost 2 wks. Oh my...

    Need to stop by our business today and do a little bookwork but that shouldn't take too long and then off to my favorite place the grocery (NOT).

    This week I am back to cooking the very simple meals like grilled meat, rice and veggie. These meals seem to help me lose quicker and will try to stay out of resturants this week.

    If I get really bored with something like chicken I do buy a jar of the fat free gravey and put a couple of T. on my meat....it really helps give it a different flavor.

    Anyone try or like spaghetti squash.....we love it. Easy to fix and it is good with some butter or you can use it like pasta with tomato sauce on it or just a can of low salt tomatoes, or fresh chopped up ones.

    Dont' use butter, use Molly McButter or ICBINB spray and they are freebies!!!
  • Ds and I love spaghetti squash! I use stewed tomatoes on ours and a little parm cheese... YUM!
  • Well, took my son to the dr and she said Sinus Infection. Ok I like that better than asthma...going to take a nap since I lost about 2 hrs sleep last night staying up with him...
  • Hi girls!!! My day today started off slow..Tuesday's are my day off, so getting up at 530 in the am to do exercise was SOOOO not on my platter!!! But eventually I woke up at 7 and got the kids ready to go off to school. Since we are down to one car now..(hit a curb on sat and messed up my tire rod), I had to take everyone today and drop them off!! So i was a taxi mom today!! Came back home, did 20mins of cardio...then went off errond running. It is SOOO hard for me to eat right when i'm at home. Im not eating junk food, just not eating at the right time!!.. Anywho...talk to you chickies lata!!!
  • I think the best way to help with that is to get things together in advance so you can just grab it and go... Just keep trying. That is the best thing. Sooner or later you will figure out how to make it work for you!
  • I'm draggin my butt around today, too. Work has been crazy and then when I get home I get "what's for dinner"? - like it would matter. Whatever I cook my kids turn their nose up. Life feels like a marathon lately and I am going in a million directions I haven't had time to exercise and my eating has been way off Hopefully, the month of February will slow things down and I can get back on track - I'll keep trying, though
