OK I need to rant..............
 

I am involved in this *playgroup* in the area called Charlotte Mommies, they have a board similar to this one and well there is an area on that forum to buy and sell stuff. Well I was going to buy something from one of the other moms and we agreed on a price, I talked via email with her 3 times yesterday confirming I would come by here house around 10 this morning after I dropped Keilyn off at preschool. She told me that was a perfect time. So I go and borrow my moms little pick up truck so I can go and get this little tykes picnic table for my daughter. Borrowing her truck is like pulling teeth! So I drop off Keilyn, go borrow her truck and go to this ladies house and guess what?!?!? She wasn't home. So I come home and there is this email from her saying she didnt know I was coming today around 10 but she won't be home at that time cause they have decided to go to the library.

So I went through the trouble of borrowing my moms truck and I took the trouble to even go to the ladies house to find her not home. She knew I was coming this morning around 10, I confirmed it with her 3 times yesterdday! UGH!:mad:

I am just so irriatated at how some people treat other people. So when I got home I emailed her back and told her that I wasn't interested in the table anymore, feel free to sale it to someone else. :devil:

You go girl!! That is exactly what I would have done. She knew you were coming and that was rude.

That is just ridiculous! WTF is she thinking? I hope no one else buys it from her.

That is rude of her. She could of left it outside and put a note saying, Had to run... please leve check under doormat. Or Something!

I think you did the right thing.

What's a support group if we can't help ya string her up by her toes and tie her hair to the cat!

How annoying! I know I would be livid. I am one of those people who cannot stand last-minute decisions that have nothing to do with emergencies. I would think that it's common sense to call someone instead of E-MAILING anyway.

I'll add her to my list, too! Grrr.... "do unto others and run", huh?

I would post the fact that since she ignored your appointment, you are no longer interested in the picnic table on the Charlotte Mommies forum. Just a sweet little post saying you're sorry she missed you... think of it as consumer protection. ;)

Laurie, there is nothing worse than making an appointment, showing up and then the person is not there - so rude!! That is a big PET PEEVE of mine!!!

Or maybe I should make a post on the CM board to her saying " Hope you guys had a great time at the library, while I stood at your front door knocking for 10 mins, liked we scheduled! " LOL!
