Tell us something Tuesday!!
Good morning ladies! Well I got one sick teen in the bed this morning, not sure exactly what itis he has but I am wondering if maybe he suffers from migraines or something. Not positive, he says his stomach hurts and his head is still hurting, this is day 2 with the headache. Poor guy!
Got a busy day ahead of me so I cant hang out and play long. It's Tuesday, so tell us something that you did as a teen that nobody knows or you didnt' get caught doing!!! Come on, tell us somethign we dont' know about you!!! |
ah, I did so much I wasn't suppose to do as a teen....let me think and I'll post one. lol

Hmmm, interesting question. But first...sorry to here Steven isn't feeling well,my friend had to take her son to E.R on Sunday due to headache/migraine,hopefully its just a virus and he'll be over it soon.
Now,back to the question....you do realize that for me trying to remember back that far will take considerable concentration :dizzy: ,I may even hurt myself... Oh well....ok....ummm...hmmm....still thinking...... ummm.....oh yeah:idea: when I was staying at my cousins house one summer I went out with a guy much older than myself...without my Dads permission,or knowledge..in fact the only person who knew about my date was my cousin and all she knew was his first name(which at this juncture in time eludes me)and that he drove a big blue cadillac, looking back on this I now realize what an IDIOT:eek: I was . Who knows what kinda psycho the guy was..I BARELY knew him myself! What a doofus I was.But...most of you already know that I am a doofus so I guess that didn't really qualify as something you wouldn't know about me,but it was something I got away with, and thankfully lived to tell the tale! |
I was pretty straight-laced as a teen. 12 years of catholic school and all that. Band geek - didn't get in a lot of trouble. Never really did anything wrong - High School was painful - I wouldn't want to do that over again for all the money in the world!
|
I was sweet and innocent, never causing my parents a bit of worry! :D That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! In fact I think they called me angel.
|
Donna - - yeah right!!!
One of the reasons I didn't want to have kids was because of the things I did as a teenager (and can't believe I am still alive to tell about it):o !! You know that old "reap what you sow" kind of thing:^: . I could be in serious trouble here. My parents didn't find out many things - the one I thought I could get away with, but didn't --- I skipped out one night with a group of kids and we went joy riding :sssh:- there was a major fire at a local hotel and we stopped to watch all the excitement -the news camera crews were all there. As my luck would have it - I ended up being viewed on the news as the camera was panning the crowd and guess who happened to be up and watching TV:sorry: I was in such trouble when I got home:rollpin: |
Yea Donna we all believe that one!!!;)
Teri you sound like me! lol I am surprised I lived thru some of it too Becca. Didn't we do stupid things! In high school my girlfriend and I skipped school and went to a local teen hangout lunch spot. Sitting there drinking a Coke and in walked my father :o He just said come on and walked us back to school without saying a word and took us straight to the Dean's office. Well needless to say we got a lot of detention from the school BUT my parents never said a word about it to me :?: I think that was worse than them grounding me or yelling (my mom was a blow your top type). Maybe they were smarter than I thought :) Phyllis |
Ok ok! My sister and I and a girlfriend snuck out of the house to meet the neighbor boys. We got about a half mile from home when we saw headlights - knew it was mom because we lived on a long dead end country road. We hid in the trees til she passed then RAN home and pretended like we had been sitting out back on the tramp. She didn't buy it. Mainly because she had yelled for us first:o . She had woken up and didn't feel right so she came up to make sure we were okay. We snuck out again after that - with more caution and not with the same guys (Prolly just to smoke) but I think my friend was reformed, she was petrified to spend the night (she did, and was a bridesmaid in my wedding) and never snuck out again.
OMG! We were SO stupid! One of the boys later went to jail for assault. I'm locking my kids in the closet! |
lets see, long time for me as well becca...mmm I snuck out at school...supposed to be study hall...but I had study hall in the band room so it wasn't supervised...went down to creek with 2 friends, and tried my first and last joint...didn't know what the big deal was with it.

I had extremely strict parents and went to Catholic school. My parents would not allow me to date until I was sixteen. Then, they would only agree to let me go on a date with their friends' son who was the wildest boy in the school. I wouldn't even talk to him! We went on a date and wound up dating for a while- he always took me to drinking parties, etc. But they approved!!!

I got pregnant and married at 16 - didn't get a chance to sew my wild oats until 30. Made up for it with a vengence then.

My wild phase was actually in middle school. I started sneaking out of my house when I was in middle school. One time I did and when I got back my dad was waiting in the living room for me. I always went out through the dining room window. When I saw him up through the window, I decided to try to sneak back in. I took my shoes off and left them by the window, outside, and snuck in. I slipt up the stairs and still didn't hear me. I got underneath my bed. That is a long story on that. To make it short, I have 2 older brothers and the only peace that I could get would be to get under my bed and talk to my friends on the phone. I had a high bed. Any way, after getting under my bed, I fell a sleep. Next thing I know, I am being pulled out from under my bed by my dad. He questions me about where I have been and why my shoes are out by the window. I basically told him that I WAS going to meet a couple of girl friends at the end of the street and sat my shoes outside. I decided not to go and got underneath the bed to call them to tell them I wasn't coming and ended up falling a sleep. Guess what? He BELIEVED me. He said ,"I am sorry honey, you go back to sleep." I feel awful til this day because my dad and I are close. Oh well!!! Sorry that was long. :)

That is funny Mel!
Well my mom has always been hip and I could sneek out without sneeking. But when I was at my friends house......... Christina lived with her dad, who was a single parent. AND he worked nights. So who wouldn't want to spend the night at Christina's?????? Well, Kari, Marsha, Jenny, Christina and I were all there. Kari was washing her hair over the tub, kneeling on the floor. She swung her hair up and water went all over Marsha and me. So we dumped water all over her head. Well eventually we all started throwing water. A huge indoor water fight!!!! One of us slipped on the kitchen floor, and we all laughed. Then we all stripped down to our panties and bras and made her kitchen a huge indoor slip and slide. After several hours of slip and slide and water being soaked up with every towel, blanket, and cloth in the house. Everything was STILL wet. The next morning her dad came home and asked why ALL pictures on the wall were have soaked up with water. We didn't realize that we had done so much water damage! We were busted!!!!! Christina was grounded for a long time! |
Dani--
That is funny. I have never heard of anyone doing that. That actually sounds like fun. |
LOL! We did it with flour. In fact it was the same friend (might have even been the same night!) as we snuck out with. My sister was making cookies and we got in a little argument and I flicked a little flour at her and she threw a handfull back. It turned into a HUGE (10 lb sack of flour) mess. All in fun til we realized Mom would be home soon. She prolly wouldn't have noticed but the kitchen was SPOTLESS and she was wondering what we were up to. Nothing we said with cute little innocent grins. Later she noticed some flour we missed on the top of the wainscotting in the dining room. She thought it was funnier than we did and bummed she missed it.:D I think she was just pumped we cleaned the kitchen! LOL!
