Saturday Morning
As soon as Donald's aid gets here, I'm off to pick up my Little Sister for the weekend. No special plans, we'll just hang out.
I am feeling REALLY positive about my Weight Loss efforts this week :carrot:. I wish I could bottle this feeling & have access to it whenever I wanted it. Unfortunately for me, once it's gone, I can't seem to get it back when I want it - just have to wait for it to come back again. Anyone have any tricks for re-motivating one's self? Good mornin everyone! Well I stepped on the scale today and I am down 2 lbs so far this week. Not as good as I wanted but its all my fault, my mom talked me into going out to eat seafood last night and well, those hush puppies just kept calling my name! : ( and then that night with the hershey kisses, UGH!
Today keilyn has a birthday party to go to and tonight I amhaving some friends over and other than that not much going on. Hope everyone has an awsome weekend! |
FINALLY taking down christmas decorations... don't ask. I would have taken them donw 12/26 but - well - I was outvoted.
I am going to Pier One today to get my long awaited papsan chair. I have always wanted one of my own and now I shall have one. Tomorrow is scale day. I am skerred. BUT I shall think of all my friends here and be brave. Lynn - I will tell you what... accountability has always mattered to me. When I lost my 45 lbs on WW what would get me through the week was my wonderful leader. She was so good - when you had a bad week she would remind you not to get discouraged but to use it a s a learning tool - and experiment - look back over your journal and see where you may have made a mistake. I'll tell you what - I am a VERY slow loser - VERY slow. And I plateued at around a 15 lb loss for about 6 weeks... no matter what I did that scale would NOT budge - the ONLY reason I kep t trying was because of her and the rest of my group - they were all so supportive and wonderful... When you run low on motivation - drag yer behind over here and we shall inspire you and lift you up - k?? ;) |
Good Morning Ladies.....it is freezing here in So. Florida......in the high 30's last night and lower tonight.....:eek: But I love it!! We have so much hot here and I like getting out the sweaters and sweatshirts....quilts on the bed, it is a very nice change for us. My husband hates it:p
No big plans this week-end....we have been out to dinner two nights in a row and I see this a.m. I am up a pound, so we are staying in. I might try to go do a workout today....see how the morning goes. Yes, Daisy you are right, come here for some inspiration Lynn. We all get bad times even weeks but staying in touch here with all of us will get you moving, either that or we get out the WHIP-you choose.:p I too lost 45 lbs. a couple years ago and gained it all back, I still have some very nice clothes hanging in my closet that I am determined to get into again. Visualization is great....see yourself thin and how you want to be... We can do this!:) Phyllis |
Okay I am here kinda late this am. Almost 9 am my time. I slept in and enjoyed laying in bed for a while. Then I was done needed some girl time. So I came here.
No big plans for today. I am going to plan the rest of my meals out for today. Look over our bills, pay what I can. Clean my car (inside and out). Pick up the house, not much to pick up but some. And clean the bathrooms. Then shower, do my nails and toes then of to the mall I go to buy a new bra. Which is well needed. ALL of my bras I wear are way too loose and stretched out for me now. Then I am going to call some of my girl friends and see if they want to come over tonight. Lynn- everything that they said was right on! Also a nother tick is to capture your good feeling now. Touch your middle finger to your thuimb, on the same hand. Capture your excitment and dedication into the pressure between your thumb and finger. Close your eyes and remember that pressure and the feeling inside you. Do this alot when you are feeling good. Then when you don't feel very inspired come here (obviously) but if you can't get to us right away. Toucj your finger and thumb together. Few deep breaths and close your eyes. And remeber it........ take it in.......... let your body transform back into that positive happy devoted to oneself person you are right now!!!!!! |
