Real WI Day, SUNDAY

  • Well my MIL took us out to dinner last night to Olive Garden. One of my favorite restaurants. It seems like she does that a lot when I am doing good. But I only had one breadstick. Had loads of salad before the meal came out. And ordered chicken smothered with cheese and mushrooms which came with a side of alfredo. I only ate half. And then pushed it aside and picked at my salad again until everyone was done with thiers.

    This was at 4:30pm so by night time I was litterly starving and I broke down and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwich and some chips. I have not eaten before bed for months so I was really worried it was going to make me go up today, especially Olive Garden food on top of that!

    But here's the news..... I am down 4 pounds still! YEAH!!!! Maybe that salad thing worked!

    PS - Still sore from Yoga on Friday. OUCH! But its a good ouch!

  • OK I am up 4 lbs I was bad yesterday, had a couple drinks and ate buttered popcorn!!! yes, the devil made me do it.

    Did some walking at the mall but that place was a madhouse already so I will do my shopping during the week! Found the cutest outfit for my 1 yr. old granddaughter with a pink pair of those soft boots to match..Uhgs I think they are called (all the rich young female actors are wearing them)....anyway they are adorable in child size 3!!!!

    I didn't drink all the water either....still having trouble getting there and my exercise is way off....really think I will try Curves....If I pay for it I will go.

  • Phyllis, holidays are always tough. I'm sure once we hit New Years you'll lose again. Plus your whole regimen of food is wacky and your body still has to have time to adjust to the new types of foods.

    Ughs are cute for babies, but I don't like them for older people. I could only imagine how cute she will be in them!

  • Wow Dani you are doing great ....down 4 lbs. and Anita down 2 lbs. Keep up the great work ladies.

    I know part of my gain is changing to the white flour foods, my body will adjust, just hopefully soon!!

    Saw that Jessica only lost 4 lbs on the JC challenge, I believe she had some problems and couldn't finish.....too bad she started off so well. Maybe she will show up here again sometime. Hope so.

  • Hey everyone! I am down 1 more lb this week. Excited about it and trying not to get frusterated that it 1 instead of 2. That seems to be consistant but I worked my butt off this week. But hey! I didn't sts or gain so I'll be happy with it
    Congrats Dani and Anita! Way to go! Phyllis-you too! You are doing great! Blame it on the devil and the salt I know for me when I have popcorn for my last snack I am always up for the next day. Hang in there! I LOVE those ughs! I got some my my girls last Christmas and they are SO cute!
    I met my cardio goal for the week. 45 minutes on the elliptical 5 days. Feels good! Gonna do it again this week! Maybe I'll do it 2 times a day and see if I can get the scale moving Mexcio here I come!

    Hey at least it is in the right direction. this week I am just STS so far. I am okay with that if that is what this coming Sunday will show because Tom is lurking around the corner. I would love to go down a few pounds before he comes though. But I will take what I can get.
