Thanksgiving Challenge????

  • Seems a lot of members aren't posting or are off the plan (if your not OP you can still post with us). So who would be interested in a Thanksgiving Challenge????

    I think it should be simple and start Monday, Oct. 2. That would give us 8 wks if we stop on Nov. 20.

    Dani you had something in mind a couple of months ago, if we keep it simple.
    Maybe just go for total weight loss? A prize for the winner? I'll do the prize.

    Let's hear some ideas ladies and who is interested??? I know Anita will be gone for a few days but I believe she would want in. I need the motivation!

  • Phyllis I am totally in. You are right things need to stay simple. Most of our past challenges just "dwindle out" gets a little discourageing. I suggest anyone who wants to be a part, really give it your all. All they way through. If you stop for a day than continue the next full strength.

  • I am in. Is there anyway to keep everyone accountable because there have been alot of challenges started and never finished. Maybe by joining this one you promise to finish it. I don't know but it seems whenever we are suppose to be in the middle of one, someone starts a new one.
  • Yep! I agree. We all need to really focus and accomplish.
  • Good idea.....if we keep a seperate thread and eveyone has to ck in twice/week????
    And one day could be WI day on Sundays.....if we don't post at least twice/week it will just end up being nothing.

    Maybe 8 wks. is too long to commit to? Want to just go for 4 wks.???? Don't want everyone losing interest.

    If you join up that is your promise to continue to the end!! Even if you have a week off plan say for vacation....you can still participate and be in the running it will keep us more OP. I know I will be gone a week early Nov. but I will work that around that.

    There is enough time to correct any off program days and still be in competition.

    Open to all ideas here, if you want to add anything else in the challenge now is the time to speak up....so far it is just a promise to post once during the week on the challenge thread and again on the thread on Sundays.....biggest loser wins a prize!!

    p.s. you still need to post on the reg. threads too....and if you don't win I bet all of us will lose faster!!!!

  • I LOVE the idea of our own "Biggest Loser" Challenge. We have never done a challenge on how much weight we lose. And that is the main point to this dieting thing. I think its a terrific idea!
