would you ladies be interested in doing a Secret Santa type thing amongst our group for Christmas?!? I figure with some of the distance between everyone that starting it early would be beneficial. If we decide to do this, we need to start PLANNING early.


Also, do we have an updated version of our address book with the new ladies in it?

Yes, I would LOVE to do Secret Santa. Laurie you should draw names and tell everyone who we all have. ( Everyone that wants to participate) That would be so much fun! And cap it off at like $25 maximun or something like that. Or any cap, even $10 or $5. I don't care something sweet and thoughtful is all that matters right, not really the cost. I'm very excited.

What we will do is I will collect the list of names and addresses and email addys from those who want to partcipate and then I will draw names out of a hat and match you up with someone. Then starting around Thanksgiving, you each need to go to Yahoo or hotmail or some sort of FREE email program and set up a temporary FREE email address so you can send your partner nice emails and ecards............setup something nobody will now or guess something like.................... [email protected] or something holidayish! Then starting around the week AFTERThanksgiving, we will begin, I want to begin early so we can get the full effect of this. You will send your buddy weekly ecards, weekly emails................special treats etc......something to entice them and get them in the christmas spirit. Then we will select a date, probably around the 5th of December due to holiday mailings and you will send your buddy a secret santa gift ($10 value or more if you want) but do not send your name with it, just use a *secret name* and then around the week of Christmas, assuming everyone has their gifts, we will all post who we *think* is our secret santa and then after everyone guesses, we will then reveal our true identity. If you dont' think you can FULLY participate by sending WEEKLY ECARDS AND EMAILS then please dont' sign up, we dont' want anyones feelings hurt at the end.

Sounds fun! I will do it. I think a weekly ecard is nothing. Takes a few minutes. So I will definatly do it. I like the idea of guessing.
