TGIF......

The hurricane stayed to the south of us so we just got about 4" of rain and some heavy wind. It didn't do too much damage south of here but 100,000's lost power, much flooding (13" in one evening) and trees down. 2 deaths from fallen trees in Ft. Lauderdale.........but should be a fast recovery down there once the water receeds.

Well, I peeked and STS.....I was down 2 lbs first of week....but it is my fault eating out kills me and we have a dinner out Sat. night of all nights!! It is an all you can eat buffet but they do have crab legs so if I stay away from the butter I can do alright and no cocktails.

Who said this was easy!

Well, it stopped raining for a minute here so I need to take my dog out...have to take advantage of these dry periods before the next rain band comes in from the hurricane, we will still get this all day.

well excersizing wasn't meant to be yesterday. we ran errands all am then ran out of time and couldnt go before the daycare there closed then we went at 4:00 before football practice and there was a power outage so they closed the gym, urg!!!

Hi Everyone:

I'm back from yesterday's move in to college for oldest DD. Everything went well including me staying OP - which surprised me. There were lots of good choices at the cafeteria for lunch and for dinner they had a picnic and I still had good choices to choose from. Of course I didn't get my exercise in since we left at 6:30 am and didn't get home until 10 pm. But then again, I did get plenty of exercise just moving her stuff in. Lots of up and down trips on the steps, moving furniture, walking around campus - I probably burned more calories yesterday than normal! I dont' think I got all my water in though.

Glad to hear the hurricane bypassed you Phyllis and you are safe. I can't imagine living in Florida and worrying about those hurricanes all the time. The season isn't over yet, is it?

Well, 2 days until weigh in. How is everyone feeling? I have no idea. I've stayed OP pretty much and was super busy this week, so I am expecting a loss if I don't do any damage between now and then. But you never know how the scale will treat us!!!!!

Phyllis-I am so glad the Hurricane wasn't too hard on y'all...it's bounced off of y'all and where it is going now is anyone's guess...I just hope it stays away from us...we are 20 min from the water so I pray it stays away. It has definately been an active Hurricane Season so far and from what I hear..more to come.
