Dissapointment & Ice Cream
 

I have been shoving ice cream into me for the past few weeks. I know there is a problem when I start doing that. I just faced what it is. Tomorrow, I was supposed to go scrapping. I was looking forward to it for 2 weeks. I just got a call that our regular aid cannot be here tomorrow - we will have someone new. I can't leave my DH to go that far away (over 1 hr) with a new person. When I got the call, I felt like crying.

I am suffering from fun withdrawal :(

OK - that's enough whining from me. I just talked with my daughter. She would charge 950/night for the whole house. [mid-week in the summer] This would include lodging and breakfasts. Gratuities for the cleaning/wait staff are not included. We could use the kitchen for other meals. There are 12 beds in 9 rooms. Some of the beds are King-size, most are Queen-size. There is a pool & we would be 10 minutes from New Hope - a touristy/artsy/antique town.

No, we would all split $950 x 3 nights. It's expensive. I'm sure we could do better elsewhere.

Where is her B &B located at?

How about a hotel at Myrtle Beach SC??!?!? : ) We could all share a room or get separate rooms?

I just love icecream in the sommer. and the lost couple of weeks i just cant say no to it. :o

Soft serve ice cream was my biggest downfall on vacation. It's so hard to resist ice cream in the summer. Don't beat yourself up. Summer is almost over. Sept is the 2nd biggest time of year, people starts things (2nd to New Year's) like diets. Thank goodness, Sept is almost here. I think a lot of us will be getting on track seriously then. You too - I can feel it.
