  • I stayed the same!!! I know, I know it was all the dinners out this week and I did eat a small (very small) piece of cake last night But we danced a lot and I thought that would help.....Oh well.

    Hope you all did better, but I am not upset with mine. Eating in most of this coming week so I'll get some loss next WI and doing some more exercises will help.

    Off to church now, you all have a great Sunday........ahhhh I forgot we have a bbq this afternoon to go too........this is the last eating out thing, I'm taking something LOW in calories....veggies & low fat dip!!!!

    Have a good one, Phyllis
  • I gained 2 lbs.............all that eating out last week KILLED ME! UGH!! I hate myself!
  • Well I lost 1#! YiPpEe!!!! I have actually been kinda bad. I went out at the begining of the week and got a tub of ice cream and been eating it throughout the week. Actually its yogurt. But full of chocolate. and I had Two birthday parties to attend last week where I did eat cake and ice cream and then a night out with the girls - I ate lots of veggies a 6oz. steak and water - no desert! Except latere we went to the ice cream shop. I ordered a small, everyone else got mediums. I threw half of mine away - they didn't. And you know what else I was the smallest out of the group and they kept making skinny remarks to me - mad me feel bad. Example: One lady said she always has had big calves and the other one turned to me and said "you don't have that problem - your calves dissapear in those jeans." - Well they were boot cut jeans, and I didnt say anything because I was already flustered with all the other skinny remarks towards me. I went home feeling bad about the lose I have had not so proud anymore. When I came home DH made me feel much better and things were good again. So the funny thing is - no matter what I weigh big or little then in any situation I could always feel like the "odd ball" SO I will just have to live with being the "skinny one" Cause no matter how people say things to make you feel different the only thing that matters is who we are inside and how we accept ourselves.
  • 2lbs - at 184lbs this week not eatting as much and running around a lot. But not exercising like I should
  • Oh and I have another birthday party this afternoon! So this time I will watch that cake and ice cream thing. Its at a roller rink and I will skate my butt off to try and burn some cals!!!!
  • Hi. I hope you all don't mind me jumping in your group here. I haven't started JC's plan yet.... I am still waiting for my book to get here so I can learn about it. I have already spoke with Laurie though so I felt I could jump in your group. I hope you all don't mind.

    I don't know how you all eat out/go out so much lol. My family is home most of the time. We eat at home except for maybe once or twice a week. So that might help me when I get on the plan. We will see. I still have to get and read the book yet lol. But I can cross my fingers lol.

    Floridarusty,

    Your WI is not bad!!! You had been out having fun and still stayed the same on the scale!! Not bad! I would be proud about that. That is much better then a gain! Congrats!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Laurie & April,
    With the loss you have had so far... grin and bear it and kick it off on your next weigh in! Maybe by the end of the month you can lose the 2 plus several more!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Dani,

    Hey girl! IGNORE THOSE PEOPLE!!!!! They are just JEALOUS because you look good and you are getting healthy!!! Listen to your husband! He is your best friend! You will always struggle in any group/gathering. No one is perfect in any one's eyes. And people always have to find something to nit pick at. You are a beatuful girl! Shake your thing and let them know there rude remarks does not bother you!! They will stop... and one day they will all start asking.... how are you doing that, please tell, I wanna do it to! Then you will be there princess!!!! Keep your chin up! You are doing what is best for you! And they just can't figure out how to do it themselves. Also.... the slogan you have "nothing tastes as good as thin feels".... is a curves thing! I just read it yesterday in there book.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    You all keep up the good work and congrats to all of you! Even if you had a gain or stayed the same!!! It appears you are all doing well on JC's plan! I can't wait till my book gets here so I can check it out! It should be here Monday I think.
    Again, I hope you all don't mind me butting in! I hope you much continued success!
  • Dani - great on the 1 pound! I didn't know that roller rinks still existed!!!! Those are fun!
    I am down 1 pound!!! YEAH!! I never seem to loose 2 pounds a week so I am happy with the 1!!
  • Congrats Anita! And Tracy of coarse you can come here- thanks for the sweet words.
  • Tracy,
    Welcome to the group! JC program is a very realistic and doable program. You have to be patient, though, and consistent!!!! It basically teaches you a healthy way to eat. Welcome!
  • Good morning girls!
    well i lost 2lb, but i still have 3 to go from what i have gained on 2 weeks ago.
    and im still not capable to keep my diet clean from junks. Oh well. summer is almost over, and hopefully less b-days to attend to.
    Julianna
  • Thanks for the warm welcome. My only thought is.... are you allowed coffee on JC's plan? Lol. I am a coffee aholic. Lol. I can't wait till my book comes. Thanks again for the warm welcome.
  • I didn't weigh in this week as i am retainning fluid and don't want to send myself off the deep end so will pay closer attention this week and hope to get this swelling down. Hugs, Wendy
  • I gained one pound. I did cardio 5 times in the past 7 days. I was looking forward to the weigh in today. Needless to say, I was frustrated and sad. I'm thankful for my husband. He's my best friend. After weighing in, he took me to the gym for another 30 minute session of cardio. It's got to pay off sooner or later. Hopefully soon.
    creamyturtle,
    Don't get down on yourself. You did more exercise this week. In all the diet books I have read, and with all of the people I have talked to, I have learned that muscle weighs more then fat!!!! So it could be muscle weight that you see on your scale. Also pay attention to the way your clothes feel, can you reach your toes without choking (just thought of that one lol!), do you feel better in general... before your weight in total? You could still be losing fat.... but gaining more muscle which burns all of that fat! Keep your chin up!
  • Creamyturtle --
    I know EXACTLY how you feel! Make sure you are watching your food portion sizes! If you are then it WILL eventually come off!
