OH NO! What have I gotten myself in to?

    You guys read my post about how it went on Sunday with the cookout here with my brother and his GF and her kids.........etc.........well she mentioned she had this family friend who was around my age, loved kids...etc........and she asked if I would be interested in meeting someone. I kinda blew it off but on Tuesday night I had to run to my brothers house and she brought it up again....and she told me we both had alot in common. Not sure how she would know that since she doesn't know me that well. Anyways, she called me last night and invited us to a cook out on Sunday and well she then proceeded to tell me *HE* was going to be there and he wanted to meet me................oh no, do you know how long it has been since I have been set up, on a date or even made myself presentable to meet someone?!?!? OMG, what in the world did I get myself into?!?!?!?

    Good luck on Sunday. Sounds like fun. Yu don't have to make yourself presentable to meet someone. Just be yourself - that will be enough.

    Laurie...just ask him lots of questions!! This could be the beginning of something great for you...You are an awesome person with a great personality..just be you!!! And tell him that if he treats you badly, he will have to deal with US!!! LOL Waiting to hear the details!!

    Laurie darling please dont be discouraged, you are a wonderful person, think positive, if this is not the one, then there is a lot where this one came from. So this is not the end of the world, just have fun honey, and enjoy yourself.
