How wierd that is was full ... try again...
Anyone else, if you posted you WEIGH IN for today here - that doesn't count as a point - MUST be YIM'd to me. Also, I am not doing the email right now. If I use it in the challenge I'll post it at that time. For now only YIM me weigh in amounts. If it was posted here and not YIM it does not give you a point. You all can do the previous day (Sunday) all through Monday as well. That way if you dont get to the computer right away you still have a chance at the activity point. Or the question point for that matter. For Sunday there was a total of 4 points available to earn: 1 = OP Food - YIM Sundays results on Monday 1 = OP Water - YIM Sundays results on Monday 1 = Challenge Question - posted here on the thread 1 = Activity - YIM me weigh in Total 4 for Sunday Hope this makes sense! Just so you all know I only have 4 people (including me) that has YIM thier weigh in. So if your not sure just YIM me it again. |

DAY TWO
********Question******* Today is water suggestions: Let us know your water ins and outs. The little ways that you include water in your day to get to the goal per day. ****ANSWER THIS & IT COUNTS AS A POINT******* My water suggestion is to add slices of cucumber! I do NOT lile cucumber, but boy I LOVE my cucumber water. Plus its good for you. I slice the cucumber in slices put in a glass pitcher (more appealing when you can see the cucumbers) and some ice and water. Put in the fridge until ready to drink. When the water is gone I leave the cucumber in there and just keep refilling it. You can tell when the cucumber needs to be replaced/tossed because the water will lose the potentcy or the will start to shrivel. Another thing DH and I just started - we got a whole bunch of flavored water w/ carbon in it. And checked for no asperteme - thats bad for you and in most flavored waters. And we each get 1 liter of that every day. |

One of the things I do is to order ice water with lemon whenever I eat out. It has become a habit with me. I generally get a really big glass & have it refilled at least once.

I am a day late...I will try to catch up!
Sunday question: What could hold me back this week... I have a hard time at social events making good choices. This week I will have a BBQ party on Saturday (7/23). I need an action plan going into these events so that i will make good choices. Monday question: Water!!! I start the day with a bottle of flavored water. It is from Target under their Market Pantry brand. I like the Raspberry blackberry flavor. It is calorie, caffine and sodium free. My first bottle is 33.8 oz. I then use that bottle and fill up at the water cooler once more at work. By 4pm, I have had about 66oz of water. At home, we keep bottled water in the fridge. I usually have two 16 oz. bottles at night. If I go to the gym to work out I bring my 32oz Nalgene bottle. I usually finish this off. Ok, I am off. I have a field trip today to the Mall of America..gotta go! Allison |
Water suggestions.....I am a creature of habit...so I try to fill my huge drinking bottle..64 oz. full of water and put it on the counter..either to grab on my way out the door or to sip on thru the day.

forgot something..also when at puter, I try to put a large glass goblet of water near puter to sip while typing/reading posts...just tastes better out of a glass for me!

One more thing - every once in a while, I buy a new pretty 12 oz glass for me to use.

I have a 32 oz. bottle that I keep filled and with me all the time. I try get 1 down by morning snack, 1 by lunch, 1 by afternoon snack, and 1 by after dinner. I put blueberries (frozen) in it and it flavors my water and then I eat them as my snack. A little mushy so you could also put them in yogurt.

I try to drink 2 cold bottles of water before work, then at work I try to drink 2 more, and then after work I try to drink the remaining. Sometimes at home I also just put water in a big glass with ice and lemon. (I should try the cucumber, though, since I do like cucumber). Donna, your method of adding the blueberries also sounds really good. I think I am going to give that a try. I suppose you could also do that with rasberries and strawberries.... OK, now that I have been thinking about this...I sometimes go to restaurants where they have pitchers of water with ice, lemon, limes, and orange slices. That would be good -- and add the cucumber slices! That would be a water smoothy, LOL. But it sounds good....I think I will try that! |

Drinking enough water is not a problem for me. It is my drink of choice. I do always keep water bottles in the fridge and always take one when I leave the house. I always order water w/ lemon when I am at a restaurant. I do like filtered water so I use a britta water filter system. In the summer I prefer the temp cold. In the winter, I do better with the water at room temp. |
Water ideas...
Well, it seems they have pretty much all been taken! But--I take a bottle of water with me everywhere. I throw a couple in the car when I'm headed out, so that I always have some near me. I drink through a straw sometimes too, just for a different feel. I always order water with lemon when i'm out. I just tried the cucumber thing, and I think I could get used to that, too. I just make sure I always have some water with me, and sip it throughout the day. I also HAVE to stop drinking the diet coke. On days when I drink that, it is much harder to get the water in. |
Okay remember to YIM if you are OP for food and water. I either havn't been getting them or only a few of you have actually been YIM me your results. Come on guys. I'll Yim everyone today with what I have and if Idont have what you have let me know. Maybe we'll have to go to the email thing. To make sure I get everyones.
